Always a pleasure to shop here, its never particularly busy, they're managing the covid crisis well and the shop is always well kept and stocked. Well done to the staff and thanks for all your hard work during this challenging time. You deserve a pay rise once this is all over, im sure the big shops are making a fortune at the moment.

Poor service at tills especially self service incredibly slow took 20 mind to put 10 things through because of till always saying cant recognise item also lack of tills being ooen

The other Friday I was assisting a gentleman affected by a cognitive disability to buy some flowers to place on his mother’s grave. The woman at the door, who was handing out sweets, was so helpful and understanding towards him, holding the flowers while he chose and showing such warmth and humanity often lacking. Tesco are lucky to employ such staff. I hope she knows the difference she made to us. I was in again the other day and the staff simply are so friendly. Well done, guys

Asda in Forfar is a great branch of this famous marque. Good parking and self-service cards-only 24-hour petrol. As usual all one expects ... and I always find highly competitive pricing here. Sometimes national advertising excludes Scotland from offers available.

Avoid the Forfar ASDA Cafe at all costs! Very small portion sizes, a very rude and unpleasant staff member (her name starts with the letter J and ends in R), the customer service is just terrible. No cutlery, teapots and cafe was not even busy at the time. Had chips with my meal, counted chips and had 7 in total and even 2 of these were half size chips. My beans were overcooked and no sauces available or even milk for my cup of tea. Somebody at a high level at ASDA Head Office needs to sort out this mess of a cafe to help bring in more customers to Forfar ASDA who do their shopping there. Obviously if the cafe is terrible, a portion of customers will shop at a different supermarket where there is a decent cafe available. The Manager at Forfar Asda needs to highlight the cafe issues to his Director so that the running of this so called "cafe" is investigated by Head Office.

Plenty of choice foodwise clothes etc but checkout is a joke. They want you to use scan and go or self service. 1 checkout operator this morning and queue of customers one " here to help" woman when asked to open other check out says no staff got assistant manager and the staff standing doing nothing " wasn't their job today " to go on checkout. Asda needs to think of their customers needs not saving money getting them to check themselves through. 😳

Popular store situated in the retail park, caters for most needs. Close to residential caravan park and the sea front.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good range of food, clothes and accessories available. Sadly, only two of the self scan basket checkouts take cash. Queues form for the cash checkouts while two card only checkouts are unused. Card users can use all four checkouts. Not fair.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them to assist. The only downside is that it lacks a range of girls clothes and there are certain Gluten Free products still not available and I did find once there was no potatoes ?! Has a range of tills available from origional till operator to self serve with a click and collect point. Parking is plentiful for all types of road users and the cafe is popular. Good experience all round
