The lady who served us was absolutely fantastic, a real people person with the ability to make you feel you've come home for a meal and a catch up. The rest of the staff were really nice and polite. Was my sons birthday and 15 of us went for a meal, the 4 year old were terribly loud and hyper and we put up bunting, balloons etc and this lady even helped us sing happy birthday. She is a real credit to the place. The food was OK, some said it was really good but a good mix on the menu with something for everyone.Parking is fantastic. The place is warm and cosy, has a wee play area for kids and is really clean and tidy.

Really didnt enjoy our lunch. Had to wait even though not that busy. We had steak and ale pie with tatties peas and gravy. Very unappetising. Wouldnt recommend. Pie was tasteless and pastry dry and chewy. Potatoes tasted nonedescript. Very dissapointed. Hadnt been since before Covid. Nothing like it used to be.wont go again.

Friendly and efficient staff. Good quality food. Beer a bit pricey but in good condition but no ales on tap. Would recommend.

Popped in for a meal on the way home from a day's shopping in Dundee. Staff were fantastic, very polite, great service. It was not busy when we went so a nice quiet dining experience, a lot of the time these places are so noisy it is just not enjoyable. Food was great, hot, and well prepared. All In all, highly recommended, it does pay to book in advance though as more often than not you would have to wait for a table.

Was supposed to be going here for Xmas Dinner but due to having to go into hospital on Wednesday 22nd December they let us bring it forward to today. The food and staff were exceptional, especially the manageress who unfortunately didn't get her name as she was so busy. Made me feel really special which really cheered me up as having a really hard time at moment Couldn't fault them whatsoever đź’•đź’•đź’•

Food is just OK. Been a couple times now. The Indoor soft play area for the kids is decent as you can have your meal in there and keep an eye what's going on rather than the kids being in the other part of the restaurant however wear a jumper cause its not warm through in that part.

Enjoyed a nicely cooked breakfast great value for the money, staff were friendly and helpful and a nice clean restaurant will go back

Awful experience! 12 of us staying at the neighbouring Premier Inn, family over from Ireland and not interested in seating us for drinks at 5pm on a Friday. We would have been 30 minutes and place was empty but manager was unhelpful and just rude. Premier Inn staff also baffled. I think the excuse was one of the most ridiculous I’d ever heard - the reason we couldn’t be seated for drinks is that the bar area is so small because they’re not in a built up area……if it wasn’t so annoying it’d be laughable. Sales prevention at its best.

We went there on Saturday and place wasn't too busy. After we refused to sit right next to exit and entrance door, we got seated at very nice table at the window. And it was very quiet..so we couldn't really understand why waiter wanted us to sit right at the door where people are walking in and out and queuing. Anyway food arrived very quickly and was tasty. Only thing my friend got unlucky with coffee..one was very wattery and second one was cold. But overall we were happy and staff was friendly.
