Food was ok, nothing to complain about taste, although the clotted cream (for scone) is served in plastic dish and definitely was bought somewhere else, not made in the cafe.I also found the ambience quite depressing, more because of furniture, not because of the staff.Overall as a tourist - I wouldn't go back, although the locals seem to enjoy it.

I like this place so much its the only café I go to when in Arbroath!It's cosy, comfy, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff as well as a great and varied menu.The options for hot drinks are endless with flavored syrups, vegan and veggie friendly milks.The homebakes are so tempting too and many different kinds.Whether you want a hot meal, snack or cake or just a drink this is the the place to go, it does them all and to a high standard.You can also "take away". Great for summer time.Great value too.
