Arrived for a meal with my old man . greeted and instructed to input our reg in the parking tablet . shown to a nice table and ordered our drinks swiftly. I had the scampi which was delicious and one of the best tasting scampi meals I have had out of a pub . my Dad ordered a pasta chicken dish and said it was also lovely. The servers were attentive and efficient. The pub was clean. The drinks were nice and hit the spot. We were offered puddings but unfortunately we just didn't have space as the mains were so large. We did however take a few cakes home for later and they were fantastic. We had a coffee in the pub instead and I must say the coffee was very nice. Overall very satisfied and I will be back for sure.

Favourite place to eat! Been last 2 weekends and the sirloin steak and surf and turf. Best steak I have tasted with the beef dripping and merlot gravy! Compliments to the chef and staff as top service received on every visit! Left very happy customers especially with the 2 for 1 offer on the main meal

10/10 for everything. We were seated quickly upon arrival by friendly staff, drinks were taken within 5 minutes of being seated. The menus had a big variety and other options were available when asked, starters arrived quickly and were tasty, mains were just as quick and just as good!Overall fantastic atmosphere and service from the staff, food was great and worth the price will definitely be back 👍🏻

Been here a few times and was shocked at the price jump on the new menu ,even though its a 2 for 1 !Had an enjoyable meal but was somewhat disappointed that the waitress missed us out a few times when asking if everything was OK and for ordering deserts. Was waiting patiently on her coming so we could order desert ,ended up not bothering and my partner even had to go to the bar to ask for the bill . Shame as we had been out to celebrate good news received earlier ,so somewhat put a damper on it

We were a group of 7, 5 adults and 2 children. The service was quick and nothing was too much trouble. Our server was lovely, she was friendly and gave us little spoons for the kids which although sounds like nothing, that’s something that’s never given without us having to ask specifically for. The food was tasty and hot. Overall a lovely meal with family.

Ryan was very pleasant & our order was taken & served promptly. My scampi was perfectly cooked & my husband’s burger was tasty. Not so keen on the chips though. Think the “2-4-1” offer is a bit of a gimmick. I really think people would prefer the price reduced & simply pay the price shown.

Lovely meals, delicious desserts and a warm, kind staff! Such a welcoming and friendly place. Perfect for a girl who takes her dog on all her travels. Will definitely return! Also in response to another review a few days previous about the car park situation I can say that there is signage EVERYWHERE including on bathroom doors, every table and on entry about inputting registration. We were also told on entry and it is as simple as typing in your REG.

EDIT:The restaurant owner has replied to me. They have stated there are signs all over the car park HOWEVER the only signs I read simply said "PRIVATE LAND, REGISTERED USERS ONLY" - I never seen any signs that said I needed to enter the restaurant and enter my details into a machine! As an elderly and ever so slightly dottled human - I would have hoped the restaurant staff might have told me about the parking situation. My daughter has already paid the fine for me as they said they would only charge £60 if paid within 14 days. A very expensive meal!Original Review:BEWARE. The car park is now private land. You will need to park elsewhere if visiting. We accidentally parked there to go for a meal, 4 weeks later we received a Parking Fine from UKPC for £100!!!!The car park used to be for customers for the Dunnichen Stone! No idea who owns it now but it is very deceptive as it is RIGHT next to the pub!

Not been here since before the pandemic but will be in no rush to go back. Its normally the sort of place where you get average service and very average food but it was really cheap so you kept going. Tonight they couldn't even get four meals correct and they have upped their prices that much their 2 meals for 1 is not worth it all. £18.25 for fish and chips, £16/17 for pizza, £18 for roast dinner. If you paying prices like that you may aswell go to a decent restaurant with nice food.

This place is great!! Such a welcoming feeling and that’s down to the staff being so friendly. They know what they are doing and what they are talking about. I feel like they treat every customer as their main priority. Food is good. My little girl said that their sausages are the best she’s every had. And for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Thank you Dunnichen Stone.
