East Coast Burgers in Angus

Henry our neighbour suggested ECB we had a real authentic burger experience yesterday, expertly seared on the outside, juicy within, and perfectly cooked chips.This with the friendly servers and views over the sandy Scottish coast must make this burger joint one of the best outside of New York.

Very impressive burgers! Delicious, well presented and generously proportioned. Don't let the remote location or bland building exterior fool you, this is one of the best burger joints in Scotland.

What you would hope to expect in a burger and nicely presented. Popped in on a cold day and we were pleasantly surprised! Very clean, good service and very nice helpful waitress. Best wishes to them for a busy season to come!

Met by pleasant member of staff who showed us to our table, kindly asked us to comply with covid rules and fill out our contact details then took our order. Food was delivered in good time and the quality and presentation of the food was amazing. A must for those who haven't yet tried it. Thanks to Perry and his team

Been a few times with the wife and kids and the mains are always good and the staff are always friendly. I'll be back again! The only thing for me is the desserts are a bit lackluster. Last time I had chocolate fudge cake that was actually 2 slices of dense, chocolate sponge with a runny sauce over the top. Make them a bit more special and I'll be back every week. I'm still waiting to see the tuppeny nudger make an appearance!

Good quality food at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit if your in the are a and looking for good quality cafe grub.

Patties too salty. Not enough fat content. Items missing from burger. Chocolate milkshakes are just a cup of milk with cocoa powder. Loaded fries are good though hence the 2 stars

Waitresses had very little knowledge of the menus. And forgot the drinks order, slow service.2. There specials were only verbal with no prices and when asked they didn’t know !!3. Table ware. All burgers were served on a slab which looks good but not practical unless you want to wear your burger !!If they sort out the bad points I will definitely be back. I can’t stress how nice the food was.
