Well what can I say… food order was wrong… not the 1st or 2nd time this has happened.Curry was bland. The nan bread was like a solid slab. Disappointed. This place used to be the best Indian in Forfar but it’s rapidly going downhill

Occasionally very decent food, but shocking service at times. They're rarely on time and food can taste like it's been sat under a lamp for hours.

My Family went to the Family Run Restaurant on 23/08/21 & 24/08/21. The Staff was excellent, the Service was excellent, the Food was excellent, even my fussy eating younger son, who is 10 years old, finished his meal & was very happy. He wanted to go back every evening. Only the thing is that the place could use a upgrade.

We had lovely meal , Dillen the waiter a very nice chap . He will go far, good with people .

We had the place to ourselves, but really enjoyed the food. Plus, 'bring your own' wine was a bonus! Will go back, for sure.

Brilliant Indian food, I would recommend to anyone who enjoys Tandoori cuisine! I have never been disappointed by the quality of the orders or the service! Whether you are in Forfar and decide to dine in, or just need a delicious take-away delivery, do not hesitate to try Shimla!

Please be patient as staff make curries specifically for you and also they run a takeaway service.Naan bread is still massive which I personally love.
