Ordered online for a home delivery, it arrived before the estimated time and and 1st we thought the portion size looks a little bit small but after eating it, it was probably just right.The food was fresh and we'll cooked, not greasy like other fish n chip shops.We will be coming back and would recommend to friends and family

First time ordering from marcos and have to say am very disappointed. I ordered 2 fish suppers to be delivered and the portion size was not adequet for the price. Plenty if chips but fish was the size of what a child would receive also delivery driver didn't bring any change to the door

The best fish and chips in Scotland! Perfect fish and batter and massive portions too, only downside was I burnt my tongue on the curry sauce.

I only ever buy fish and chips from Marco’s due to the fact the fish is cooked to order and normally crisp, large and juicy. 5 stars. However, i would have been disappointed if i had recommended Marco’s to any of my friends who visited tonight (6:30pm). Fish, medium and chips warm. I am assuming different days different fryers, it seems that getting the timing right to visit is important. However they will still keep my custom, just a bit peeved.

Looking for fish and chips and read all the reviews for local takeaways.A couple said this place had gone downhill.I can only say that the haddock suppers we ordered were superb.Lovely light batter and great flavour fish.Cooked to order and generous portions.Chips were also superb. Not at all greasy.After eating our meal opposite the shop I made a point of returning and thanking them for a lovely meal.I also had an ice cream from their ice cream shop next door.Lovely taste and a generous single scoop.I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.

Best fish supper I've ever tasted! Cooked to order and fresh. Good sized portions too. Reasonable price for what you get. Busy but quick service and you don't mind waiting if it's good what you get! And it is!

It would have been a 5 as I've never ever had a bad fish supper, but.... Its either changed hands or because of the holidays the owner is being sneaky and changing portion sizes because what I received my 6 year old grandson would of eaten on his own.... Hopefully it was a one off... Let's see after holiday season...

Best place for fish and chips ever! Well worth the 15 miles drive to have. Tartar sauce is a must have.
