North Street Chip Shop in Angus

You turn up to buy fish n chip order then your told you need to book in take away slot to collect your order over 1 hour slot for fast food takeaway service... I know its covid season but keep your fish n chips sourced a better service

Used to a great chippy, very mediocre now in my opinion.

North Street Chip Shop has become our favourite "go to" treat takeaway! 🤩 The staff are lovely to deal with and the food is always tasty, fresh and piping hot!!

Not impressed with fish and chips. A bit greasy and very thick chewy batter.

Everything is freshly cooked to order which is great. It's just the traditional fish and chip shop fare which is good as it makes the menu easier to navigate. If you want a kebab or pizza or whatever go elsewhere. A special mention should go to their white pudding. In recent years, in East Lothian where I now live, the white puddings are just not great. North Street Chip Shop has the traditional squishy, moist ones with great batter. I've been getting chips here for at least 42 years. I love it.However, they've lost one star as the fish batter could be improved. Sorry.

Fantastic service and nice fresh hot food . Onion rings were a bonus . Didn't have to wait long on the food Staff were most helpful 😃

We drive past the shop near our house and across town to get the fish suppers at North Street Chip Shop. Always big portions and delicious. If possible, they have gotten even better during all of the restrictions. So happy they were able to adapt and keep serving their delicious food.

Some of the best fish I've ever had really nice big pieces only drawback there's no place to sit in here it's all take out. It smells so good when you enter. They are very nice and helpful, very clean restaurant. In busy times it can get packed inside waiting for and ordering food so stay cool and be nice to everyone. I will be coming back to this place for sure and you should also come back over and over. Parking is just on the street around the business.
