Lovely tray bake and coffee. Good menu choices for hot food too. Good array of gifts in gift shop.

A great range of homemade cakes and biscuits as well as a varied menu and daily specials. The homemade tomato soup with homemade bread was fabulous value and tasted wonderful. The staff were really friendly too. Will definitely stop here again.

Good wholesome food. Only one person taking orders so long queue which has led to giving only 4 stars otherwise it would have been 5.

Have passed many times driving up the A90, first time stopping by. Great place for a pit stop. Nice shop area with all sorts of gifts, homewear and groceries. The cafe area offers a full selection of meals and snack, with a mouthwatering display of cakes. It was a bit early for cake so opted for hot chocolate and a bacon roll.

Great place for a pit stop en route to Aberdeen. Easy access off carriage way. Has grocery, home baking and gift shop on site as well as good wholesome food on menu.

Had lunch here, food is good, fresh made and good size portions. Prices are reasonable & staff are lovely. There's a nice wee shop too 🙂 Easy parking 😊

Peggy Scott’s is a Services stop, an hour shy of the Aberdeen Ferry Terminals. We stopped here and were very pleasantly surprised at how much variety they have.We all had dinner here, and I even got a choice of vegan options. Ultimately got a toastie with extra mushrooms and tomatoes. Undecided about the white or brown option, I asked for one slice of each and the super awesome chef delivered!! My toastie came with the yummiest healthy salad with bits of red and yellow bell peppers, in finely shredded cos lettuce with cherry tomatoes conveniently halved. Also yummy chips which I ate with malt vinegar and tomatoe ketchup.They brew a great cup of black tea, and I drank two cups. Took some for the road in my flask.The others had chicken toastie and the freshest generous size of battered fish, (choice of breaded available) with chips and salad. Sodas available. Choice of dressings are self serve, as are the sodas.They also have great ice cream. Our party sampled oatmeal, honey and whisky ice cream (hey, you are in Scotland!) and chocolate. From the ooh’s and aah’s of the diners, they were both very good.The hosts are lovely! It was nearing the closing time of 5:00 pm and we did not feel rushed. Last minute purchases were cheerfully accommodated.We also purchased locally sourced honey, homemade brown bread, local whole milk, scones and some other foods to take on the boat.Oh, and the cleanest of toilets, well equipped and 5 or 6 in the Women’s bathrooms, with equal number of sinks.If you decide to stop here, you won’t be disappointed. Actually, if you’re craving a bite, your stomach will thank you!

Great friendly staff as always. Food was tastey and arrived out very quickly. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals for a fantastic price. Brilliant place to stop for a quick pit stop and something to eat.

Best place for food on the A90, always stop in past and get coffee, some food and a few custard creams to take away, they are the best I have ever tasted. Staff are friendly, service is second to none and the tables etc are spotlessly clean.In addition to the cafe there is also a small shop selling local produce and toilets that are well maintained.Decent sized car park, with additional parking around the side of the restaurant.

Always visit here on my way up north for adventurers. Fantastic food and great staff. My scampi and chips 👌 and that salad and coleslaw mmmm mmmmm 😁😁
