Sinclair's Larder in Angus

Happened upon this bistro as we were passing through Edzell at lunch time. It's on the main street so easy to find. Couldn't believe the quality of the food. The front of house and chef appear young but they are extremely good at what they do. Can't recommend it enough.

Oh how I wish I had more places like this that offers amazing local food for a decent price. Found Sinclair's larder on my travels around Scotland and I will be letting everyone know that this place is not just a must visit but it's a you better visit. You won't be disappointed. Serves amazing tasted good with great portions. Has outside seating. Parking on street. Very nice welcoming staff. It also has a small gift shop stocked with local artist products. And it has a disabled toilet. Look folks this place I cannot praise enough for its food. Include it in your must places to visit. You will not regret it.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and didn’t regret it. Food and service both fantastic. I had the Yorkshire pudding beef wrap and I wasn’t hungry afterwards. Brilliant chips.

We found this place by chance and I'm so glad we did! Best burger I've had in a long time! The cakes were amazing too! Staff were lovely and prices were decent too. Definitely recommend eating here!

Very nice food. Good service. Bench seating could be more comfortable. The pudding looked lovely but was too full to try one, nice coffee too.

Very pleasant and clean cafe. Sat outside as the weather was fine. However £9 for two regular (smallish) Americanos and a cherry scone with a pat of butter, seems a little expensive...hence 4 stars.

Excellent little restaurant. Lots of quality home made foods for lunch or coffee/tea snacks. Will be back soon

Really friendly staff. Food was well prepared and the cake was home made and tasty. Coffee piping hot and delicious. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be back if i am in Edzell again. Tiniest of gripes..if you give someone a prawn that needs peeled provide a way of cleaning your hands. Fishy fingers are not appealing
