We found this lovely restaurant in a little village called Memus near Forfar. I went for the breaded fish & I have to say it was the best breaded fish I've ever tasted. It was so light & the fish just melted in your mouth. My husband had the tacos & he said they were absolutely delicious too. I would highly recommend them. Yes you pay a bit more but you don't mind because it's worth every penny. We will definitely be back, that's for certain.

9 of us plus baby had my birthday lunch here today, and it was fantastic! The food was lovely, couldn't be faulted. The staff were attentive but not overbearing. An extensive, varied, creative menu, yet reasonably priced. We have been many times and are never disappointed. Highly recommended to others.

Had a delicious lunch here for my birthday. Lobster ravioli in a seafood bisque is now my favourite starter ever. Chairs were very comfortable which is important for 2 of our party. Had a very relaxed time. Would highly recommend for any occasion.

Called ahead and reserved a table, nice enough bar and professional staff.Ordered soup and lobster ravioli. Soup was good, ravioli was ok.Burger was freshly made and excellent quality as was the chips, salad and coleslaw. Steak sandwich was excellent tooDouble gin and a dash £7.85!!!!! Must have had to pay for the rose petals and raspberries in glass. The drink was beautifully presented but not worth the hike in price in comparison to most places. All in all, 2 starters, 2 mains, pint and a half of soda and lime, double gin and dash, pint of draught coke £60.Had a look at restaurant, very fine dining!Nice grounds, plenty parking. Toilets were well stocked and clean. Not sure I'd go back though.

A perfectly placed restaurant and pub in the beautiful Angus countryside. A very varied menu to suit all tastes and diets. We were situated in the bar where there was plenty of space, roaring log fires and the service was superb. The portions were very generous and the prices reasonable. Having only had meals in the beautiful garden before, we were equally pleased with the interior, the attentive staff and superb facilities. We’ll, no doubt, frequent this wonderful place many times in the future.

Really nice food. Incredible menu with choices that will suit everyone. I had pigeon breast to start, venison for my main and a chocolate fondant to finish. Lovely food.

Dishe (brie croquette, vegan risotto) I tried were good but not amazing however, my husband found each item (wood pigeon, venison, apple trifle) he ordered as perfect and gave his meal 5/5, he couldn't fault anything. Each mouthful was flavorful and unique. My dessert of winter Berry cheesecake was delicious 😋

Lovely setting out in the countryside. The Drovers is very popular and has plenty of seating, indoors and out. The food was delicious, the service was great and very attentive and the strawberry tart was to die for! Lots of menu options, a well stocked bar, clean facilities and covid sanitizer etc throughout. Highly recommend, we will be back! 5*

Brilliant place, ideal to take the young lad. We sat outside in the glorious sunshine and whilst we waited for our food, the youngun played away in the park they have there. It was absolutely ideal for him and the food was also very nice, I recommend the chicken tacos!

Clean and attractive interior, indoor and outdoor dining available. Service wasn't speedy but pleasant. Delicious hot food, very nicely presented
