Nice food, extensive menu friendly staff and large portions. Handy place for eating after visiting the Montrose museum or a walk on St Cyrus beach.

When on Sunday, had a great meal, with great service and reasonable price. Careful the onion rings side is massive! 🤣

Was here for late anniversary dinner as had vouchers from parents.Very friendly and helpful staff,meal was excellent.

The George hotel never disappoints. The food is always tasty and the helpings are generous. Our latest visit simply confirmed our expectations. Staff are always well trained, obliging and polite. Prices are good value for what is on offer.During lockdown the quality of food we had delivered to our home remained at the same high quality.

Popped in for food after day at the beach.Dog friendly, staff were lovely! Always made sure we had everything we needed throughout out meal.Portion sizes are larger than expected and couldn't finish main course. Amazingly offered it to us to take away though!Would have bought a dessert if wasn't so stuffed.Best onion rings in the area. 👌Would definitely go back.

It was our 1st evening meal out in a while. I've not eaten here for a long time. It was nice. I had a pasta dish which (for me) had far too much sauce. It was swimming in it. It tasted fantastic though. I also had the sundae & that was disappointing. The brownie had obviously been heated in the microwave & it had ended up brick hard. Others in the group were mostly happy with their meals too. Overall the feeling was that the desserts needed work. The ice cream wasn't the best but the waffle was very good. Overall it's a nice place for dinner.
