I can highly recommend the chicken curry (with extra onions and mushrooms) and boiled rice. Always nice and hot and very tasty.

Used this place a few weeks ago and the food was great, however I ordered tonight and the food was just about edible, chips were re heated and very rubbery, the curry sauce tasted burnt. The beef curry was chewy and the fried rice was very greasy. Will be giving it a miss from now on.

All in all not bad. We have been staying at Lunan Bay and fancied a Chinese takeaway for the extended family. We had a selection of dishes including beef in black bean sauce, king prawns with cashew nuts, special chow mein, egg fried rice, etc (which were all fine and pretty much what you'd expect) plus an excellent portion of chips. The only thing that was disappointing was the crispy duck which was very dry and not particularly tatsty. We would go back but next time I’d avoid the crispy duck.

Best chinese ive ever had. Currys sauce is the only curry sauce of its kind. Deep fried shredded chicken in satay sauce is to die for. Id highly recommend to anyone to eat with these guys.

Without any doubt Golden City is the best Chinese take away I've ever ate from. Great service. Amazing food. I actually used to work in Golden City doing there deliveries in the late 90's & the food was amazing back then. It's still as good,, if not BETTER! Ordered
