Great food and amazing service! Staff are always so friendly, welcoming, accommodating and efficient. Love going to the Milton for food. Great choice on menu, nice and varied and a fantastic specials board as well. Food is fresh and plenty of it. Drinks menu is extensive with lots of lovely wines, gins and vodkas as well as brandies and Liqueurs.

This was an average experience. We started with the soup which was tasty and the hummus. The hummus was a pretty meagre portion and came with half a slice of Pitta bread! The service was unexceptional, it was difficult to attract the attention of anyone. The restaurant had 4 waiters on and wasn't jam packed. There was no sense of urgency with anything.We mentioned the half slice of Pitta was a bit meagre and the waitress seemed taken aback but would mention this to the kitchen.We ordered the Sunday roast of beef and 1 of pork, a fish n chips and roast cod. My roast beef was really well cooked, a very slight blush but the whole plate seemed like it had sat out for at least 5 or 10mins. The Yorkshire had gone soggy, the food was warm, barely. It was well cooked but lacked any real flavours but I did enjoy the crushed carrots, they were tasty. The pork was the same, well cooked but lacked flavour.The roast cod was slightly overcooked, the fish n chips were fine. Nothing exceptional as you can see from pictures. Nobody came to see if the mains were fine.It's not gourmet pub food but some dishes are priced over £15 which is a bit steep. There are some dishes which are very reasonably priced though. I felt the service was lacking, the food was fine but fell short of the pricing.

This is a great place to eat. Excellent food and great service. The staff make you feel very welcome. Had a lovely Boxing Day lunch with the family. First class. Highly recommended

Had an excellent Sunday dinner here. Staff where so warm and friendly and interested in your day. Meal was delicious and very reasonably priced. If I stayed closer I would become a regular customer

Great food, great atmosphere, very well run establishment with knowledgeable staff and owner. Alcohol free selection was also great as I was driving.

Went for post lockdown Sunday lunch. Clean, efficient and fast. Food was great. Server was lovely. It was a weird lunch because it was so quick- only due to the lack of alcohol so once we ate, there was no reason to hang about. Sunday roast (beef and chicken) and kids meals were great. Thank you!
