Turned up yesterday (5th March) several minutes after calling to check dog friendly (they are) and a table free, managed to fit us in around the back bar. Service excellent and we both ordered main courses (steak pie & chicken haggis) which came very quickly from the.kitench and cooked perfectly. Couple of ales to wash it down and on our way. Will definately come back again...10/10

Really comfortable, clean, cosy room. We had dinner and it was lovely (the clootie dumpling for dessert was the best!). Breakfast is very generous. You won't leave here hungry! Staff were all lovely too. Lovely place to stay.

Great rooms and a really nice smokie and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Had a nice meal at night here too. Rachel and the staff will make you feel at home - recommended!

Just had lovely lunch. Perfect Cullen skink and goats cheese sandwich. Too much to eat at great price. The young lady serving was brilliant. Coffee outside to finish. Fabulous setting. Recommended. (Picture mushroom soup)

A group of six people having different foods and we all loved the food we were given. Service was friendly and we had a good time there. Only drawback ladies toilet the positioning of the baby changing table could be different. Will be eating there again.

We were met by polite well mannered staff who found a table for our number without any fuss or bother.We were then attended to without delay and we had our drinks in hand within minutes,all with the same efficiency as we had experienced on entering the restaurant. The menu was simple to understand and basic but it was cooked to perfection.Excellent service,excellent food .No compaints🙂👍🙂

Lovely setting near the harbour in Arbroath. Amazing meals. Steak pie was gorgeous, one of the best. Staff were attentive, courteous and friendly, and we will certainly be returning

A great short stopover at this beautifully presented spot. The room was perfect, immaculately clean and so comfortable.Located right where the land meets the sea you get an uninterrupted ocean view straight out the door. The star prize goes to the staff however who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and accommodate my late arrival and early morning departure (they even fixed me a bag of goodies for the road to make up for my missed breakfast)

Myself and one other had a very good quality meal outside one afternoon in late summer. 1) Roast lamb and 2)Fish and chips were very well presented and tasted great with quality ingredients and generous portions. Attentive, hard-working staff.

Visited restaurant only. Nice little pub. Friendly service and good food. Decor a little dated but we had a nice quiet corner and made for a lovely first evening in Arbroath.2 of us eating. Ordered starters and mains with a glass of wine each. Cost £54
