Fish suppers excellent hot and fresh, Burger, Sausage and Haggis FROZEN clearly can't manage large orders tried calling the shop to discuss and got the arrogant shop owner who stated you should expect some of it to be cold if you order too much, won't be back

Wanted to give this a try, so went in tonight, got home lovely fish but have to admit the chips were very poor, a few that could be described as chips and the rest what I can only describe as bits won’t embarrass the shop by posting the pics but won’t be visiting again

So, just moved to the area, and trying all the fish and chip shops. This newly opened one in Carnoustie, we tried tonight. Fish very fresh, plum, white. Oil very hot to cook the fresh fish. We ordered 2 battered fish suppers and 2 breaded fish suppers. Both were superb. Chips very nice. I will be back. Banter very good too! Thanks very much all!

Tbf the food is very good but the owner is very arrogant, the shop girls clearly have been given little or no guidance and look uncomfortable, out of their depth and are frightened to ask him anything , utter shambles when trying to queue up and wait eg where is the start of the queue,where is the end you walk in and do not know where to stand as the customer space is too small especially where we are atm with covid - doubt I shall be back anytime soon.

Good food freshly cooked as you wait. Chips are not greasy,reasonable prices. If it keeps up like this it will be the end the other chip shops in town Congratulations 👏👏👏

Finally a decent chip shop. Hope it stays that way and doesn't skimp like some in the area. Only tried one meal and was really nice.

I drove out of carnoustie to monifieth to get a decent chipper No more Great fish and chips I fear for the other 2 now

Phoned for an order and was told it would be ready in 15mins, I went down to pick it up after 20min and was told it would be 5min more. After 10 min more of waiting , it was still not ready so I told the guy I was leaving. If your busy , say so , tell people it will be 30/40 min . Don't lie...... won't go back.
