Fresh fish, huge portions.They even have Gluten Free fish batter!This is by far the best Fish and Chip in Brechin.We've been visiting Brechin for years, trying different chippies, and the one on Montrose street always gets our best votes.

Really didn't have a good experience. The food was dreadful. The staff aren't friendly. So far dinos is the best chip shop in brechin.

1st time I had visited this chippy, all I can say what a treat fish cooked to perfection not under cooked and slimy or over cooked and hard or dry, batter nice light crispy not over cooked on outer and doughy inside because batter too thick and or oil too hot hence looks cooked or even gets hard on ends but floury soft inside....Chips cooked well lightly crisp outer sofk fully cooked in center nice tasting potatoes not like some who use a cheep grade potatoes to make chips with, these were lovely though a little small on portion size than most give but I enjoyed them none the less. Staff were welcoming and friendly, I had phoned in my order which was ready for me to collect and the lady called out my order as I entered the door nice to be made to feel welcome, defo go back again 🙂

Down from Aberdeen visiting father in law.First time ordered from VdV and have to say one of the best fish suppers ever. Huge portions and reasonably priced. Thank you and we will certainly be back. The set up for covid is good also.
