There are really no words to describe the sheer joy of a stay at the Airds Hotel. My partner and I stayed in the Junior Suite for 2 nights in November 2021 and we loved every minute. The hotel and surroundings are beautiful, with sumptuous Vispring beds to snuggle you to sleep after a long hard day of relaxing by the fire in one of the beautifully decorated lounges or enjoying a wee dram in the whisky bar.The service is fabulous, with well-trained staff who are friendly, professional and always available yet unobtrusive. And then there's the food...oh the food! It's nothing short of exquisite. Suffice to say we're still talking about what we ate 2 months later. The Airds is a wonderfully quiet 'get away from it all' place to recharge your batteries and feel thoroughly well looked after. We can't wait to return.UPDATE - 16.2.22There's been a change of ownership at the Airds and there seem to be major redevelopment plans afoot. Obviously I can't review what I haven't experienced, but please be aware my review was based on a stay under the previous ownership.

Booked a cottage annexed to the hotel back in the Autumn of 2021. We were then informed that due to a double booking would we accept a later date and in a different cottage. Now been informed that this cottage and date has been double booked with the earliest alternative forward date being June!!! This place appears to be in chaos!!

The Airds Hotel was delightful in every aspect. The Hotel itself is beautiful set in a stunning location with views across the water. We were made to feel very welcome throughout our visit by staff who were charming, courteous and professional at all times - always willing to help. The food was delicious whether breakfast or the wonderful dinners. An absolute treat. We would not hesitate to stay at the Airds Hotel again and look forward to that occasion hopefully in the not too distant future. Beds very comfortable too!

The position is truly amazing but even better is the attention to detail in this pretty hotel. We found every member of the staff to be helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Robert the general manager was outstanding and a true professional. We stayed three nights in a beautiful Loch facing room which was attractive and comfortable. Each of the three dinners we had was delicious with perfectly adequate portions but exceptional qualityPrices are somewhat on the high sideWill return

Disappointed to stop by after an arduous cycle to get to you and found you not serving anything even at your outdoor tables to non residents. A group of 4 of us wanted a beer. Apparently due to COVID-19. A nonsensical interpretation of the rules in my opinion. We pressed on to the village shop and got our beer there. We ended up drinking out of a can as opposed to a glass but you lost £20 and some good will.

Beautiful views from dining room, if you get a table next to the windows, which seem to be reserved for residents. Food was delicious, what there was of it. We were still hungry when we got home! Disappointed as this was a special birthday treat. Definitely NOT value for money. Pretentious and stuffy. Staff tried their best but felt uncomfortable the whole time there. Clientele mostly oap ages. Sorry, more food on plates, less emphasis on upper class trimmings. Take a trip down to Archerfield in East Lothian, they have fine dining in sumptuous surroundings down to a fine art, see how it should be done.

Faultless. From the beautiful decor and attentive service to the amazing dinner. This is as good as the last time we stayed. It may look modest looking but don't be fooled. our room has an amazing view from the bedroom and bathroom and was beautifully decorated, modern and stylish and not too minimalist.

This was a return trip to a lovely hotel, tucked away in a beautiful part of Scotland. The service is excellent and they staff can't do enough for you. We did have a small problem with our television, it was sorted very quickly with little bother. The Food is to die for, so I advise not to eat for a week before you go. Finally, the room was very comfortable and I slept very well. I thoroughly recommend the Airds Hotel for a quite get away holiday.
