Night away, comfortable with nice restaurant and good food.

Came for a beer, stayed for a meal! It was a pity they didn't have the real ale on but there was a good selection of local bottled ales available. They found us a table without any bother. The menu was a great selection of starters and mains for all tastes. We enjoyed our meals. I'd go back again. Recommended.

The food was great, local caught fish as fresh as could be. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the selection of whiskies behind the bar is amazing.

Large quirky bedroom on the barge , superb menu both in the evening and breakfast. Beautifully cooked. We look forward to staying again.

The hotel was excellent, rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean as was the rest hotel. The staff were very efficient, friendly and the food was fresh. Would have no problem in recommending The Anchor for a stay.

Seabed Restaurant staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Great menu selection, catering for a variety of dietary types. Good value.

Just love Tarbert and the Anchor Hotel .It a special place .Weather wasn't fantastic but friendliness of staff and the food were second to none .The two evening meals we had were certainly the best we have experienced in a long time .A real treat and the breakfasts equally enjoyable ! Will be back .

Five stars for the hardworking staff who were very nice and attentive. The food was lovely and served with a smile. Rooms could be doing with a freshen up, as they're a bit tired looking. Overall I wouldn't hesitate in going back. Tarbert is lovely

Staying here for 2 nights for our anniversary. Lovely wee hotel with all Covid things in place. Great wee room facing the front with tea and coffee facilities. The food was tremendous and the breakfast great too. Great service all round.
