Outstanding fish and chips!Having visited many seaside resorts, I can honestly say, the best I've had on years. Not too greasy and a very manageable portion size. I like salt and vinegar on my chips but not the fish as it makes the batter soggy - not a problem here and all fresh, hot and delicious. We'll worth a visit.

Anyone from Dunoon knows the best place to get fish and chips is Anselmo's! The food has always been very good for years, portion sizes are decent and well worth every penny. Very friendly and helpful staff too! Would recommend to anyone - local or visitors.

We ordered our fish supper from here and it was great. A very popular local chippy with really friendly staff. If you want to try the cod, get down there early as they sell out quickly. We were luck and just managed to snag the last ones. Would definitely visit again.

Food was lovely, although the haggis batter was slightly hard but haggis was lovely inside. Chips were nice and just amount of salt! Would deffo come back!

Friendly staff, efficient service and really good fish n chips. It is a completely traditional over-the-counter take-away only place, serving everything deep fried with chips. If that's what you're expecting it's perfect. Oh, and all their packaging is paper or cardboard. No plastic to worry about.

Worth the drive from Kilcreggan! Seriously though, a great way to finish off an afternoon's meander. Really lovely fish and chips. My little boy especially liked the mozzarella sticks, and the service was excellent.
