Ardlui Hotel & Restaurant in Argyll & Bute

Went in for lunch, noone at the bar. Looked round the hotel. Had to phone them to advise we were there. They weren't serving food until night time so we left

The food was just incredible and the waitresses were amazing. Would head back in a heartbeat.

Really comfy beds in a comforting, old-fashioned hotel. Lovely staff despite being low on staff numbers after the pandemic. Good food in the evening and nice breakfast. Great spot for exploring the area.

We had the most relaxing and amazing stay here. The staff are so friendly and helpful and had good banter too. The food was delicious - I'll be thinking about those chicken wings for ages they were so tasty! We were upgraded to the Squire suite which was outrageously lux. The (enormous) free standing bath in the middle of the bedroom was epic, the bed like sleeping in a giant cloud and the views were gorgeous. Can't wait to come back!

Stopped off for lunch 23 January 22. Food was Fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth dropping in. Staff a credit to the hotel.

Stayed in the squire suite which has just been re furbed so was beautiful. Copper bath in the room was a nice touch. View down the Loch was stunning. Very accommodating at breakfast for vegan options. Would have liked to stay longer and will definitely be returning.

Hotel was nice and welcoming with great views.Our room (16) was a bit run down- the double glazed window pane overlooking the Loch was blown so full of condensation and spoiled the view. The bathroom tile grout also needs a good clean!The restaurant food was good, as was the breakfast.

No booking upon arrival after 7hours of driving, and took far too long to sort this out. However, when we got into our triple room it was lovely. Enjoyed are food but staff could offer better service.

Lovely comfy bed and lots of fluffy towels. Small room but nice and comfortable. Dinner was really delicious and the menu had lots of options. The restaurant lacked atmosphere but the food made up for it and the bar area in the restaurant was cosy. Breakfast was OK. The hotel is in a great location on Loch Lommond next to a small marina.

Lovely location on Loch Lomond. The bed was comfy and I slept well. Facilities were very clean. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic and so delicious. A beer garden gave good views of The Loch and mountains. I would definitely go again.
