Ardshiel Restaurant in Argyll & Bute

Nice hotel with maybe the best selection of whisky in the area. Great service and good food. Unfortunately the rooms are not that new, see bathrooms. And heating is not working properly especially on the third floor.

When we asked for vegan options, they had several options and the roasted veggie pizza they made was spectacular! Hoped to have it again the following week, but must have been a miscommunication.

Fabulous friendly staff, lovely clean hotel and great food, especially the home made puddings !

Very nicely decorated very friendly staff great choice of whisky. I thought the food was not the best I had the chicken katsu burger Itwas ruined by the overwhelming onion slaw slapped all over it..my friend had the baked ham with pineapple cream sauce the be honest I would not feed this to the dog it didn't look presentable when it arrived and would of been much better with a gravy than a watery sauce

Spacious rooms. Top cleanliness. Very tasty, included in price, breakfasts. Nice and helpful staff. Beautifully lied place overviewing greens and the sea. Reasonable prices.

Dropped in for a drink after the hotel was recommended by the owner of the Whisky shop in Tarbet, cant comment on the rooms but the bar is a paradise for Whisky lovers, 12 page menu of Whisky from all over Scotland and beyond..you can also buy rare bottles as I found our to my cost..astonishing place

Staff were amazing, cocktails were even better and food was delicious. Have been many times and it just gets better and better

The staff are so helpful, friendly and accommodating, who made it a fantastic trip for our group.The bar has a fantastic selection of whisky and the kitchen cooked up some lovely meals.Ideal location for walking into town, to the harbour or along the sea front.Very highly recommended and a big thank you to everyone for a memorable stay.

Fantastic fish & chips & Sunday toast. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. An amazing selection of whiskies to spend hours trying.

Had a lovely lunch outside in the rear garden. We had a nervous dog with us who settled very well. The good weather helped. The menu is extensive and I would say moderately priced.
