Shut 9.30 on a Friday night and was cold but the beer and food was good 👍

A great warm welcome and a good substantial menu. Always busy so booking is essential. Did not stay here but ate here on a couple of evenings and it was great speaking with the locals and enjoying good quality home cooked food. It added to the holiday experience.

A simple menu with well prepared, cooked and presented food. The customer service from Alice was exceptional. We would go again with pleasure.😊

This placed saved us from going hungry 2 nights on the island. You do have to book a table but it's nice that they have some spare space always unlike the other places on the island! It's a tad bit on the expensive side but you are on island so what do you expect?

I called asking if they would have a table for 2 available. I didn't have the time to specify the hour. The lady directly told me to come as soon as i can without telling us anything else.We arrive at 8:10pm to be told that the kitchen closed at 8pm.We haven't had a proper meal for the whole day so we asked if we could even buy something cold like a salad. The lady at the bar just smiled and said no. She seemed to find it funny. This was disrespectful and not professional. On top of that we are still in the middle of a pandemic and she wasn't wearing a mask, just like some customers rooming around. In any case after reading some of the other reviews, it seems that we better be fasting than eating there.

Unacceptable and disrespectful. A shame for the restaurant industry... 1 star is already overrated, disappointed I can't put less. We called to know if they had a table but the person on the phone didn't mention they were closing (at this time we could have gone to something closer & better quality), we arrived after the kitchen was closed... We asked for any food that they could serve as we barely ate the whole day. The only thing we got was a disgraceful smile. Not even a bit of empathy. I would expect more from a human being, and even more considering that this person is working in the restaurant/hotel industry. Really telling me you have no bread for the breakfast of the people staying in your hotel??

It's OK if you need a drink and a hot meal, and staff are friendly enough. Good view over the bay. Nothing to right home about - there are better restaurants and bars and pubs all over Mull, but if needs must, you may as well give this place a visit.

Just how I remembered it. Lovely views and good food. The menu is a bit limited now but that may be because of the virus. Precautions in place RE masks and signing in.

Possibly the worst restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. I was expecting fresh fish considering the island that I am on, however I received freezer food instead. Don’t waste your money here.

We stayed one night here and regretted it. The bar seating outside was lovely- except the ground was covered in animal turds. There are wild sheep roaming- but there is no excuse for not cleaning up regularly. The views are wonderful. We’d heard the food was good- and the scallops did look lovely but by the time we got ready for dinner (they stop serving at 2030) the specials were all gone and the menu isPretty restricted- average macaroni cheese, fish and chips or a burger. Not much fresh local food! The bar didn’t have much atmosphere. The stair and corridors were dated and smelt a little- but the room was ok- it was clean and whilst the shower looked like a retrofit it was warm and powerful. Breakfast was mediocre. The Aussie girl working there was lovely though and actually it was very cheap- about £120 for dinner, bed and breakfast including two drinks. Perhaps a place for a functional stop but I’d be disappointed if this was tbe focus of a much waited for holiday.
