Argyll Hotel Beachside Restaurant in Argyll & Bute

Fantastic hotel. I have stayed 3 times with work and took my wife over the weekend for my 4th time. The service here is outstanding. Everyone is extremely friendly and really appreciates the business. Room incredibly spotless and fresh. Fantastic selection of drinks in the bar with a cracking pint of tennents on offer. The food is unbelievable! I have never had a bad meal from here or even a lower quality meal. Every meal is 10 out of 10 everytime. Especially the mushroom basket starter! Great place and can't wait to get back again.

Brilliant 3 day stay. Amazing staff, food and rooms. Right on the beach with outstanding views across to the islands. The owners, Ian and Nick have created something very special.

Nice hotel and great food, owners quite rude if u mention any issues, avoid room 6 water pipes are extremely noisey if any other occupants use water, wifi not good at all.

Great wee place the owners are very friendly. Rooms are very clean and decor is lovely. Sitting outside watching the sun go down is beautiful. A little bit of paradise.

Excellent facilities, service and of course the view. Go there feeling hungry. Their food portions are more than generous. Had great, great stay.

Spent two nights at the Argyll. The hotel is relaxing and contemporary. The service is friendly and efficient. Rooms were comfortable. Dining with views across to Islay and beyond. Great food and coffee.

Lovely welcome, friendly owners and staff. Delicious food and a great drinks menu, especially gin.Would definitely come back again.Even if I do need to paddle along the beach. It's well worth it. Thank you

Amazing location on sandy beach with island views from the restaurant and outdoor terrace. Excellent food with lots of choice including veggie and vegan. Modern comfy rooms, very clean.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Very fortunate with the weather which made the outdoor seating area very pleasant with great views of the ocean and the sandy beach. I thought the food was excellent, better than I had expected. Rooms have been nicely decorated. Great walk in shower. Selection of Scottish alcohols was a nice touch. There were some restrictions because of lockdown, nothing can be done about that. Parking adequate too for the size of hotel.
