Great food, great coffee, amazing chocolates and even lovelier staff. Good chat and a very welcoming atmosphere.

Quaint little coffee and snack shop opposite the ferry port in Craignure. Had a lovely cappuccino and the best cheese and onion toastie. Perfect for a bitterly cold December day. Covid measures followed scrupulously. Much appreciated!

Yummy food and the most gorgeous cakes. The salted caramel hot chocolate was simply divine 🤤

To start with the good: quite some gluten free cakes in offering, the gluten free fruit flapjack was magnificent. There should be glutenfree toasties possible as well, but with less than half an hour left for the ferry we were told we couldn’t order them. Service was curt bordering on rude. As a non-native speaker I had the audacity to not understand everything the lady behind the counter said straight away, which was not appreciated. My British fellow travelers had the same experience though.

While waiting for the Ferry at Craignure, four of us went out to look for refreshments. Luckily, we found the Artisan Cafe. It is only doing takeaway at the moment. They had an excellent selection of cakes and traybakes. Our chosen 4 were delicious.Very good latte coffees and tea. Could not have asked for better. Thank you 😊 🙂🙂😊

If you ever go to The Isle of Mull, using the ferry from Oban to Craignure, please stop in at Arlene's. Literally come off the ferry, turn slightly to your left and keep walking in a straight line. You will not regret it.Food and coffee were excellent, staff make you feel so welcome. I visited here more than a few times on my recent business trip here.Congratulations to Arlene, and excellent job to everyone involved in making Arlene's so good :)

This was very good coffee…interestingly the lady wouldn’t allow us to use our own reusable cups for it. No real explanation as to why not and she said the cups are compostable - which is great but we were over 600 miles from our compost heap!

One of the most obnoxious staff serving our family. She firstly talked to other workers about customer in front of us as he left shop ...Then told me only 3 customers are allowed in the shop and can't I read the sign. I was so sorry that we had entered with my wife and two young children and proceeded to leave the shop to allow my wife to order. She then berated my wife explaining that this is the normal idiot behavior from non Mull resident's an wish the ferry wouldn't stop.Such an beautiful island but someone has to tell the owner first impressions last.Fortunately every single shop, Cafe, restaurant, and person that we met made for one of the nicest holidays we have ever had.

Had the most delicious lunch at Arlene's. The server was lovely and very helpful. The comment about the staff and hair is very wrong. The lady is working in a very busy cafe and today was very warm, very personal comment. I cannot fault the place

I had a tuna sandwich. It tasted fine but was quite expensive for what it was. For that price I was expecting a bit of salad on the side. We queued for about 30 minutes and couldn't see the menu until we were right by the door. Once we were inside, it was a mad rush to try and order before the ferry left. I think they were just a bit inundated with people from the ferry and the only other cafe was closed.
