What a wonderful welcome you will get here. Sharon and John made me feel welcome from the booking though to the end of my stay. The room was clean and warm and the bed incredibly comfy. The food was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend the full Scottish breakfast. A beautiful area, with stunning beaches. A perfect place to get away from it all and this hotel makes the perfect base. I'm already planning my next visit :)

Had a great stay here. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was clean and fresh and had everything you could need right down to an alarm clock. The cooked breakfast was excellent and the evening meals are good value for money and quality home cooking. I will definitely be booking up to stay again and couldn't recommend this place enough.

Sharon and John are excellent hosts.we had a lovely day here. John gave us a walking map which was excellent. We stayed 2 nights and with a early start going home instead of breakfast Sharon gave us a packed lunch for the trip home. You don't get many places like this.

Good food at reasonable prices served to us by the owners - a lovely couple. Our dining experience was only enhanced by a brief encounter with local "worthy" Ian McDougall who not only made us feel very welcome to his village but left us with a big smile on our faces!

First class breakfast. Friendly couple running the place too.There was parking and WiFi and a pretty comfortable room.They also do evening meals and the bar serves bottled beers and a surprising range of whiskies for such a small place.Walk on down to the wee harbour and watch the fishing boats come in.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Ashbank Hotel this weekend when we were in Carradale for my son and his partners wedding.The rooms were lovely, with wonderfully comfortable beds and the service was excellent. The couple who run the hotel were so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great. It made the stay even more enjoyable because we were so well catered for. What great value for money.We will be recommending Ashbank to everyone we know.

Fantastic place to stay with two of most charming hosts you'll ever meet. Lovely room, very comfortable and delicious home cooking. What more could you ask for..oh yes....The amazing countryside! :-)
