Boat House Dunoon in Argyll & Bute

Scrumptious food, fast friendly service, magnificent view and immaculate.

Visited The Boat House today and it was amazing. Hubbie and I were very wet due to heavy rain (!) and the friendly staff still let us in and we all made a joke of it. Had a cheese toastie and a latte which were both top notch and very warming. There is also a lovely array of cakes and after much deliberation I plumped for the jam and fresh cream victoria sponge which was very tasty 😊. We will have to return to sample the other cakes!!

Their was a customer at the wee take away windie waiting on a big order & I waited for about 8mins, just to get a coffee SO I just went into the restaurant entrance & got one right away to carry out BUT first of all i couldn't believe the place was 5yrs old, it was spotless, even the toilets 🚽 It looked brand new as u can see from the photos. I noticed that the spire on top of the building was skew - wiff or ascue [if that helps] & the coffee was presented in a sustainable,eco friendly ridged carboard mug & it tasted very nice & most importantly it was hot 🔥 & they also sell award winning equis ice cream, but its not as good as the esplanade cafe in Greenock.

Really lovely coffee shop. Great food, lovely staff and very welcoming. Plenty of gluten free options which are excellent. It's in the West Bay of Dunoon, so what could be better?

Popped in for a light lunch with my son. Soup of the day, carrot and courgete, was delicious, as were the vegan chocolate cake (my sonsaid just about the best he'd tasted. I had a carrot cake again delicious. We'll definitely go back😁

Definitely no doubt the best cafe diner in town fantastic coffee. Great selection of food products catering for all I reckon. Very fiendly and professional staff. A proper oasis

Fabulous place from staff to food. Had afternoon tea lovely so much took some home.Homemade cakes to die for and great coffee.Bit pricey but as they say you only get what you pay for which is excellence

We booked afternoon tea here for my daughter’s hen weekend in Dunoon and it was fabulous! The ladies could not do enough for us and the food was amazing. They went out of their way to ensure everything was lovely - providing lovely vegan alternatives also and the cream cheese and strawberry sandwiches were a delight

Popped in twice while visiting the Pier. Lovely spot for coffee and cake

Absolutely love this coffee shop, especially when you get to sit outside on a beautifully sunny day.Was really impressed with the coffee, and the cakes were divine. Was also very impressed with their gluten free selection!
