We had a lovely lunch there today. Everything was perfectly cooked. Scallops tasted very fresh, we had the garlic ones, and while I couldn't taste the garlic, they were still very nice. Also really enjoyed the king prawns, the batter was so light and fluffy! Bread was warm and fresh, chips were delicious.Staff were very friendly and helpful, and I was impressed how they handled the huge queues and pressure from the phone, walk-ins and sit-in diners!!The cafe gets very busy so can be slightly loud but it is expected and only shows how popular it is with locals and visitors! My photos were a bit rushed as we were very hungry.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!We have eaten here three times this week an LOVE IT!Amazing menu with great variety (southern fried chicken steak with bbq pulled pork or a 10" thin and crispy haggis, black pudding and mozzarella pizza) were very tasty.Great prices.Friendly staff.Dogs welcome.Nice selection of sticky buns. And most things on the menu come with a GLUTEN FREE OPTION!We will be back!

Ridiculous mark up if sitting in so carry out if you can.Frozen chips, so not chippy standard. Burgerbun was very nice the burger itself was very large but for me contained too much fat. I do not recommend the haggis on top of the burger.Fish was very fresh and enjoyable but frozen chips!!Pleasant enough surroundings and the staff are very good.Other people's food looked good so might try something different next time and could improve on 3 stars perhaps

Wonderful place. Stayed at Stonefield Castle Hotel. Came into Tarbert for a Fish Supper. Only place open. Thank goodness it was. Best fish I've had in quite some time. Good service, good staff, wonderful food. What else could you ask for. Highly recommended.

Really like it here, we often go as a family. Meals are consistently good & have great desserts too. Staff are lovely and its just really casual and comfy.

Little gem of a place! My partner and I have been here twice now, we cannot fault it! Food is absolutely beautiful, staff are friendly and helpful, the cafe itself is a very cute and cozy place to sit, food selection is great (vegan options available too which can be difficult to find in more remote areas), prices are very good considering the quality of the food. They offer takeaway as well which is a bonus. Parking right outside at the harbour. Great to see younger staff working there, very promising for locals.Lots of food options from hot meals, burgers, baked potatoes, kids meals etc. Coffees and cakes, ice creams! There’s something for everyoneA must visit if you are looking for a relaxed bite to eat at any time of the day.

Some of the best battered fish I’ve ever had. The fish was juicy, tender and delicious. It felt very fresh. The batter was light and crisp, but not hard. The chips are deep fried, but very dry(in a good way) and ever so slightly crispy on the outside.

I had read reviews of this Cafe and had high hopes before going. I was not disappointed! I ordered a "light" lunch of Whitebait and asked for a "couple of Scallops on the side" oh my! The Whitebait was superb, but the Scallops were massive, absolutely delicious and beautifully cooked in Garlic Butter. A wee side of chips and my lunch was anything but "light". A superb coffee and only ÂŁ18 made this the first of what I predict will be many visits.

We waited for a table to become available has the cafe was full which is usually a good sign plenty of takeout activity too the lady at the front of house was very helpful and chatty the menu is varied something for everyone we ordered chicken sweet and sour with rice and extra portion of chips good sized portion very tasty at a reasonable price all the staff very nice and friendly thank you

Amazing little gem of a place at the harbour, had a latte and the Black Beauty pizza, which was goats cheese, black pudding and caramelised onion chutney. It was one of if not the best pizzas I’ve had! The coffee was also superb.Highly recommend swinging by here if you’re in the area.
