Cafe Rhu in Argyll & Bute

I stopped off for a coffee and a bite to eat at the cafe. The staff were very friend and what I purchased was tasty. Will definitely visit again next time I am working in the area.

A hidden gem in Rhu. Very friendly attentive staff and the food is amazing . If you are in the area go here for lunch.

Great food. Friendly. Coffee cakes soup sandwiches filled rolls. Changes of salads fish n chips burgers. View from outside seating.

Excellent. Exactly what you want. Simple menu, very fresh food, and good portions. Very pleasant staff and spotless inside. Triple cooked chips might sound a bit gimmicky, but they alone are worth a visit. A wee gem. Will definitely be back.

A superb cafe with lovely home cooking, both innovative and tasty without an ounce of pretension.

Not a lot to enjoy. Unless you like a view of expensive boats. Local cafe charges sick squid for a sandwich. Unbelievable! Even worse? 4 quid for soup. Ffs. I make a full pot of soup for far less.Here is a pic of the view. A nuclear sub passing out to sea.

I have had excellent service at Rhu Marina for many many years with my classic Maid of Lorn and lifting in and out classic Gareloch one designs. Everyone is really helpful and there is a great community of friendly boat owners too.

My boat developed a mechanical problem when visiting Rhu Marina. The Marina staff were extremely helpful and directed me to a local engineer who did a great job fixing the boat. Excellent marina with great service.
