We stopped to use the bistro attached to the hotel for coffee. We arrived at 1030am to find that the bistro did not open until 11am! We wandered and then returned at 11am to find the doors still locked. A few minutes later a member of staff was seen inside placing chairs under tables but not opening the bistro or communicating with us or the other 6 people waiting. There didn't seem to be a hurry!! We waited until 11.15am and then gave up as did our fellow travellers. If you are not going to open on time cover the signs up and alter your website. We will not be returning. Clearly you do not want customers.

The view from this place is excelent and it is right next to an nts garden where we were initially headed.The staff were very pleasant and helpful.My wife opted for the cold languistine special and whilst she said theyntasted very nice they were expensive for what was served.I went for the mussels special. Unfortunately I'm sure there were some empty shells with no corresponding mussel. But that happens on occasion. The ones that were there tasted ok but far too many were too gritty and a number of them still had stringy beards, so clearly hadn't been cleaned properly.On the up side though..... Awesome chocolate brownie. The size of a saucer and almost a chocolate overload.

Great views over the sea, very reasonable prices for a quick drink & snack.
