My wife and I were here for breakfast very recently, we can both highly recommend. Absolutely stunning setting - we had a table at the window, overlooking Loch Lomond - it was perfect. The food was amazing - the cooked breakfast was fantastic, and really sets you up for the day. Great service too, friendly and helpful staff. Five stars well deserved, will definitely be back.

First class service from staff in restaurant very attentive and smart. Compliments to them all. They are a credit to your hotel.Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Great views of the loch from restaurant at breakfast.Accomodation comfortable. Bit disappointed had to walk outside to get to restaurant for meals. Otherwise enjoyable stay.

I need to maybe preface this review with the fact we went in the pitch dark, so no view, and there was a wedding party in full swing, so ambience was slightly affected!Anyway, these conditions meant we could focus on the food and service.Service was good and the young staff friendly and jovial, which was lovely to see.The food was somewhat inconsistent/underwhelming; starters were a little odd and lacked the punch we hoped for.My saffron pasta was totally not what I was expecting. I know saffron is a subtle flavour but I don't even know if there was any actually present in my dish as it was nuked by cream cheese and too much onion, mixed with a large portion of peas. Not what I was looking for, but maybe that was my fault.For the mains, my sea bream on Asian veg was great and really hit the spot. Lots of crunch, variety of texture and flavours, even though some were subtle. My better half had posh fish 'n' chips - battered haddock with chips and mushy peas. The chips were cold, although the fish was hot. The mushy peas had seen better days. I have to say I finished this off for my wife as it was a generous portion and she couldn't get through it all. The fish was fabulous!The desserts were better - sticky toffee pudding which was sublime and a chocolate dessert I confess I can't remember the name of. Portions for these were perfect and were enjoyed with already-full bellies.Maybe we should go back for lunch for a proper appraisal when there is no wedding - something we'd check before making the journey

Amazing view over the loch and the place is quite nicely decorated, balanced colors and decoration. However the food is ordinary, lacking taste and just not good cooking. So, i wouldn't recommend planning a bite here, but great for the view and a drink to enjoy it.

Orderd chicken bunnna rice there was more vegetables than chicken I only got 5 tiny bites in it . Girl took it away got me fresh one but still wasn't alot in it . especially what you are paying for it .

The service we received in the restaurant was very good and the staff were friendly but the food was really poor. The food was similar to what you would get in a local pub or wetherspoons, we ordered paneer fry which has 6 small pieces and popaddam and Middle Eastern chicken was very dry and soggy. And it was cold .this place is on a good scenic location , total tourist trap .
