Esplanade Hotel in Argyll & Bute

Dined in another establishment whom I won't mention. That said when I mentioned it had been recommended gentleman enquired if they liked me?. Back to the Esplanade hotel. Food was in my opinion excellent, especially when compared to the other unmentionable. Can't sing praises of our visit to the island enough. If looking for a break thougharly recommend. In saying that we had wall to wall sunshine.Regards Oor Welly 🤗☕PS heard from a good source the Glenburn hotel has been bought.

Great place to eat,meals freshly cooked.all served by happy smiling waitresses.We'll be back.

Had a lovely meal here, staff were excellent even though under pressure with a shortage of waiting staff. Good value too.

Lovely meal portions nice and big great value for money. Staff very pleasant.

Lovely food and the staff were very polite and friendly.

Food was lovely. I had the chicken Balmoral and my friend had a cheese burger with chips and bacon. Both meals went down a treat and the prices were reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Loved this place. It looks old fashioned, but that means you get great service from lovely people, simple but good quality food well cooked. Great steaks.

Sunday dinner 3 course £16.95. Excellent quality food. Large portions. Magic.

11 off us (including 5 children) had nice meals at the venue. Early evening (Tuesday). Don't be put off by having to go inside and then up the stairs.

The staff are wonderful. The place is ran as good as it can be, but the building is old and it's got certain flaws. But overall i had a grand wee stay. Angela is fantastic! Always with a smile on her face ready to help with ease.
