Etive Restaurant in Argyll & Bute

Absolutely phenomenal dining experience. We went for the Land & Sea tasting menu, with the matching wine flight. Every single course blew me away and the wines were perfect.The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about the food and drink, but also gave us space to enjoy the atmosphere.

Had one of the most memorable dining experiences ever at this place. Every dish had been well thought out and cooked to perfection. Nothing was bland. All flavour explosions. Wine menu was impressive too. Hope to return.

This restaurant is fantastic! The wine pairing and tasting menu were very impressive. It’s even more impressive that this whole dining experience was done by a 2 man crew. We cannot wait to return when we come back to Scotland

Menu is fixed - either 'Land & Sea' for meat eaters or 'Land' for vegetarian but the food is fantastic. Excellent wine cellar and great ambience. Love this place.

We had the tasting menu in January and it was amazing. My favourite thing was probably the Oban whiskey ice cream with honey and oats.. but even my sweet tooth enjoyed every single dish. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and everything you would expect from a Michelin starred place. I hope to come again soon!

First time easting at Etive and would highly recommend it. Food was excellent, great wine list and the front of house team were lovely and knowledgeable. Highly recommend trying the house Negroni

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here! From the knowledgeable and friendly staff and owner to the absolutely incredible food! We also had 2 vegans in our party who had a well thought out and delicious meal offering that was just as special and as much of an occasion as the nom vegan meals which is very rare!Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere and great staff who were incredibly accommodating! Would absolutely recommend for any special occasion or just as a treat!

One of the best meals me and the missus have had, will definitely be back next time we are in oban, service was really good david and Louis took very good care of us!

Delicious food and very friendly service, all done in a Covid-safe way behind a tartan plaid mask! We really enjoyed all of the dishes, by the scallops were the best we tasted across all of Scotland. The homemade 14yo Oban Scotch and honey ice cream, and the raspberry souffle, were also just incredible. Well worth the visit when you're in Oban!
