Food was excellent - top end flavours, produce and presentation, service was attentive and friendly, and Martin and Elaine are really lovely hosts. This is a real gem of Mull, can’t recommend enough.

Amazing, amazing, amazing…quite definitely the best steak I’ve ever had and the chips were so moreish! Could have happily eaten my husband’s dinner of chicken breast and fregola and dessert was equally relish. Service was warm and friendly - really quite lovely x

We really enjoyed our visit to The Galleon. Stumbled across it whilst looking for lunch in Tobemory and the food was absolutely delicious - fresh mussels and scallops. Martin and Elaine were great hosts and we hope their new restaurant venture goes really well.

What a fantastic Bistro! Definitely a reason to return to Isle of Mull. Martin and Elaine were very welcoming and we had a nice chat which was very welcome since I was travelling alone. The food was absolutely amazing. I had a lamb rump and it was perfectly prepared. It has been weeks, but I still can't get it out of my head!

We loved our evening here. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely. There is a great selection of freshly-caught fish and the food was delicious. We booked by calling in the day before - I don't think we would have been fortunate enough to get a table the same day, so booking is a must. I'd definitely recommend to anyone staying in or near to Tobermory.

This wonderful bistro gives us a tempting reason to return to Mull. Martin and Elaine are friendly people who provide an experience akin to dining with friends. I have some odd dietary needs which presented no problem to Martin who created me a perfect pasta dish. My husband's choice of scallops followed by halibut were superb and the sticky toffee pudding was exquisite. All this was accompanied by some well chosen red and white wines and affogato to cap off a lovely evening.

Really good locally sourced food and friendly service. Tucked away bistro and welcome change from pub grub. The smoked salmon was perfect.

Fantastic place - a small, well chosen menu which seems to change quite frequently. Run by a very friendly couple, they accommodated the 6 of us very well. We went all out with the menu - aperitif (negroni and some padron peppers) then 3 courses, and all of it was great. The donut dessert was especially good! Couldn't fault it. Will be returning.

Really excellent food, our best dining experience in Tobermory. Lovely fishcake starter, top quality ribeye steak, beautifully cooked with good sides. Dark chocolate mousse with creamy, whisky scented foam was delicious. A few minor things with the service could become a bit slicker with time, but if the food quality is maintained, they should do well.
