Glenorchy Lodge Hotel Restaurant in Argyll & Bute

Visited the lodge for an evening meal whilst passing through the area. I don’t usually write reviews but felt compelled for this place as it was truly exceptional! The staff and service was brilliant- so friendly and welcoming and the food was top notch. As another reviewer has said - the menu undersells the food. I was expecting a standard pub meal but this is way above that in quality. I had the pork fillet and my partner had the rob roy chicken. Both were outstanding and more like fine dining/high end restaurant quality than the menu suggests. If you are ever in the area and want an outstanding meal then I would highly recommend the lodge.

We stopped for dinner while driving from Oban to Glasgow. We cannot recommend the restaurant enough. The friendliest, warmest welcome that we’ve received in Scotland (Thank you so much Callum).We ordered the steak pie and Lazy Rob Roy chicken. Both were outstanding!The meat in the pie was excellent quality, the pastry was flaky and delicious, accompanying veg was local and varied (not just peas!) and fantastically seasoned.The chicken was succulent with a lovely crisp skin, the whisky sauce and haggis were so tasty.Don’t waste your time looking for anywhere else to eat, go here, you will not be disappointed.

Had a very stressful travel experience due to our ferry being canceled. However, the staff here were so helpful and attentive with our late, emergency booking! Lovely hotel with clean and comfortable facilities. Would love to stay here again. Nikita was amazing, so thankful for their help!

We stayed in Dalmally for a few nights for our honeymoon. We stopped by here for dinner one night and it was probably the best dining experience we have had. The food was superb and the service was incredibleAll the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to go back next year!

Stumbled across this place whilst driving. It turned out to be a hidden gem and the best evening of our holiday. The service was outstanding. Every course was delicious and obviously prepared with care. The facilities were spotless. If you are looking for a warm Scottish welcome and outstanding food I highly recommend Glenorchy Lodge.

We had a fabulous view from our room, which was spacious and decorated in keeping with the style of the house. The house had nice features like the mosaic in the entrance porch. I had delicious breakfast of yogurt with fruit compote.

Stayed in the area for a night and decided to head here for dinner. Cosy and welcoming and top notch food! Well presented and incredibly tasty. The staff were fab too. Well worth a visit!

The burger is killer. Genuinely the best burger I've had in a pub. Just a lovely burger. My partner said her veggie burger was great too, clearly homemade and very tasty.

I have been to the glenorchy lodge Hotel a few times now..each time I have really enjoyed, the staff are amazing and everyone welcoming and Easy to talk to You instantly feel comfortable. The food is great and large portions, value for money. My partner is not a big vegetable eater but enjoys the selection the glenorchy Lodge provides as it is not ur typical everyday veg. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon.

First time out in a year, we were all excited to go to our local for a meal. We all really loved it, food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. I had the burger, best burger I've ever eaten. Really can't praise it enough. It's so good having a great pub on our doorstep.
