What a wonderful, quirky wee place with beautiful, hand-cut chips - never happier than when I have real hand-cut chips!Simple food very well done, including homemade cakes and scones with gluten free options too.Browse the books, postcards and knickknacks that abound in a very homely environment whilst you wait for your food, then onwards for a lovely walk in the stunning local countryside or nature reserve, complete with a rainbow when we were there. Happy days!

We came across this wonderfully eclectic b&b while scouring the area, although we didn't stay we did have a great lunch there, the toasted sandwiches are proper doorsteps and the home made soup was delicious. The owners are very friendly and have time for customers. Love all the niknaks!

What a lovely lunch we had. Superb hosts, lovely warm atmosphere with coal fire, Christmas decorations and delicious food. Definitely recommend and will be back!

DON'T GO HERE!! - - - - - - -. If you want fast food. Do go here if you want great food, fantastic cakes and wonderful personal service. It's not a huge menu but great for Breakfasts, lunches and early dinner. Highly recommended.

We stopped here on the way to Arrochar and we were so glad we did. Beautiful little place hoachin' with rustic charm and character, and, more importantly, the food was wonderful; freshly made and tasty. The service couldn't have been any better or friendlier; we were actually ASKED if we wanted a pot of hot water to top up the tea pot... I can't remember the last time that happened. We'll definitely be back.
