I took a supplier to Inver Restaurant yesterday and we couldn’t have enjoyed a better experience. The setting is perfect, with wonderful views over the loch, the service was exceptional, and the food was sublime. We had crab, mussels and fish, followed by desserts (Baked Potato Ice Cream!) and coffees.I can’t recommend the restaurant highly enough, so pleased I managed to get a table.

Can't recommend highly enough. The tasting menu is superb and food is surprising and inventive. Add in the magnificent views which make it worth a visit alone.

Truly an exceptional if not unique hideaway, with bewitching food, the most comforting cabins and breathtaking views - an experience that you will never forget. Special indeed.

What a gem of a place. I remember the building being a mediocre cafe which was never open so I was excited to hear it had become a bit of a foodie destination - shame it's taken me so long to get there. The service was second to none. Our server was pretty much the perfect host - friendly, knowledgeable but not intrusive. The food was exceptional! We went for all fish - being a loch side restaurant and all - and we weren't disappointed. The oysters were the best we've ever had. And the sauce - THE SAUCE - on the halibut main was so good I had to resist licking the plate. The fact the serve natural wines (definitely a wagon I've happily jumped on) was a bonus. And rice pudding as one of the dessert options - YES PLEASE.All with the view of the tranquil loch, overlooking the ruins of old Castle Lachlan and the munroes beyond - simply stunning.Overall - I highly recommend!

A chance booking. It came up on Google maps so we took a chance. I'm very glad we did. Very nice place, right in the loch shore with great food and great service. And an old castle to walk to afterwards.Perfect

Everything we ate was amazing! The service is excellent with super friendly staff willing to help in any way they can. The tomato raspberry starter and cherry choc dessert are so tasty I almost asked for another straight after finishing. The mains were also excellent, the plaice and halibut cooked to perfection. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful dishes, chef was out plucking greens when we arrived. Modern-Swedish vibe, the crab was insanely good. Staff friendly enough despite forgetting we had a voucher.

Fourth visit here now & it gets even better every time we go. A real treat. Outstanding service, outstanding & innovative food, beautiful surroundings and just the right amount of everything. Tried the new shepherd's huts this time, a great addition, very comfortable with an even better view from bed than the bothy we usually have. A greater experience every time, 100% recommended!

From booking to the last delicious mouthful of lunch, this place was exceptional. The people, the view and the food were all top notch. We had langoustine, brown crab and the special, which was a whole plaice and I couldn't praise the food enough. Everyone who helped and served us were so lovely and helpful that it really put the cherry on top of a very special lunch, thank you all for you hard work. Clare and I will definitely be back soon.Cheers,Keith.

Blown away by this place, the best dining experience we have had in a long, long time. Food was sensational, art and taste fulfilled. Service, first class. Ambiance and views were absolutely on point. Remarkably little money for an evening of such quality.
