Kebabish of Oban in Argyll & Bute

Bought a spicy mince pizza and chips. They must not be putting dates on their meets as I was sick tonight,never had problem before. But that's pretty bad, I knew a felt different.

We were a big group of 15, and the food was spectacular. The right amount of spice,and sweetness in every dish! Nabeel, our server was absolutely great went head over heels working us and 6 other families himself, Who is absolutely generous and gave us the best hospitality. Didn’t think our dinner would go this way tonight but Nabeel made it something to remember.

This was a takeaway meal so this review does not reflect the dine in restaurant.Quiet time when I visited, no other customers. Service was quite quick but the staff were abrupt, hardly spoke. They came across as ignorant and disinterested.Food was not particularly nice or what I would say value for money.

We ordered garlic mayo chicken wraps with salads,instead we got spicy curry chicken wrap ,with barely any salads .I paid extra £1 for extra cheese,there was no cheese in it ,the chicken pieces had skin on it and the wrap was filled with full of chicken and overloaded with curry sauce,we waited an hour for our food and the whole thing landed in the bin .they also trying to avoid to refund me now and putting all the blame on the poor delivery guy .really a joke

Sorry to say we have very very bad experience we been first time in oban and had very worst experience with this kababish branch is worst I ever seen got burn chapatti totally un cooked meat without spices Dall was very taste less and when I complained they start arranging and charge us like dubble price.Very poor quality food un trained staff nd very expensive

Popped in here for a couple of pizzas while shopping in Oban. Great quality and lovely guys serving the shop. Pizza ingredients were excellent with big, chunky veggies and meat - NOT the skinny wee portions you get from certain franchises that charge double the price. Will deff be back.

I wouldn’t normally leave a poor review but the meal we received tonight was not up to standard. We ordered garlic naan, received plain both of which were not cooked properly. Curry was oily and far to many onions. Even my poppadoms were burnt. I gave a 3 star for the rice and pakora which were nice.

Completely tasteless food. We order vegetarian pizza and got half cooked pizza included only 3 topping and plenty of sauce

Paid £9 for a lamb shaslik naan kebab. To start, I was charged 5p for a plastic bag without even asking me if I want one (I only realized after looking at the receipt), and when given the food (which was strangely inside a pizza box) it was handed to me without a bag, and was given a strange look when demanded a bag. What's very strange is the fact that the government imposed bag charge covers only supermarkets, never seen a takeaway charge money for bags. When getting home and opening the box, I found quite a small portion of very dry pieces of lamb with some lettuce, on top of a huge naan bread. Although the flavour was nice, when I bit into it I almost lost my teeth because of how hard it was! The lamb has been clearly cooked in advance and only reheated once I ordered it! I should've figured that out, since it was given to me less than 5 mins after ordering. You can get a much better meal in Oban for this kind of money, better portions too. Complete tourist tip off! Will never return, only came here because the popular fish and chip shop nearby was closed due to it being the New Years day. From now on, whenever ordering takeaway I'll try the food first before leaving because if I had done so today I would've demanded a refund! Reviews don't lie, from my experience you can't usully expect much from a place that has a lower than 4 star average rating. And it this case, the worst thing is these people are simply not genuine. Taking advantage of the fact that they have very little competition in this small town. Never prioritize the speed of service over food quality!
