It wasn’t opened yet when I came, but I asked for some tab water from the lady. And I already fall in love with the place!!! She and her wee girl were super nice! Her wee girl even asked me for a sleep over and gave me this lovely flower bracelet she made. How kind and welcoming they are, melting my heart 😍❤️

Beautiful tea room and cafe , exceptional views all round and the cakes and coffee were delicious , very friendly and courteous staff , a great experience.

A great spot for lunch when walking the southern Kerrela loop. We got lunch for 2 for less than £20 and were served very promptly! The cakes sounded lovely, so also a good spot for a hot drink and sweet treat. There wasn't a large menu but the quality was high. We tried both a soup and a bagel and were very happy! Lovely spot to sit and enjoy too. There were 2 picnic tables in a tent and about 6 outside. A customer toilet was also available and well maintained.

Such a lovely little isolated spot. Great for lunch after visiting the castle. Service and food were great. I went on a warm sunny day so I got a cold drink but I imagine popping in for some tea and cakes would be just as comforting on a rainy day!Note: I had read they only accept cash so I went fully prepared, but they were accepting both card and cash as of July 2021.

Excellent rhubarb and custard cake. Brownie also delicious. Lovely service by our Argentinian waiter. Highly recommend a stop on the way to Gylen Castle.

Lovely little hidden gem 💎. We decided on a family trip to Kerrera to visit the Tea Garden and the Castle. We were certainly not disappointed! Although it was quite a walk to get to the Tea Garden (the kids were a tad moany) it was a beautiful scenic walk and well worth it. The staff at the Tea Garden were lovely and very welcoming, as it was a hot day we only had cake and coffee and ice lollies for the kids but it was all lovely and very reasonable. We are all looking forward to a return visit (even the kids!) and next time we will be having lunch 😊

Just perfect to have some hot soup or a tea with muffin after 3 hours hiking in the rain!Just take into account that there are just 2 tables inside the tent, all others are outside. Also, super clean toilet on a hike is also a blessing.

Wonderful spot to have tea and cakes after a walk on this beautiful island. I don't know about the bunk house but I have spoken to people who have said it's good.

This place is ok although very limited spaces and if you are not getting right on time the food is also limited. It is picturesque though. I think it's the only option in the island and will be good if it was better prepared for the tourism. The waiters looked also a bit stressed by the amount of people ordering. Needs improvement but lots of potential.

Kerrera's little treasure with tea pots guiding the way to a delicious cream scone and a mug of "builders" tea. Quirky indoor space "The Byre" with a huge wood burner for cooler days. As the sun was shining we opted for a parasol covered picnic bench to enjoy homemade fruit scones, raspberry jam and clotted cream. The welcome was warm and friendly and the mix matched crockery was bright, fun and eclectic. A lovely opportunity for a rest and to refuel for less than £10 for tea for two.
