I can't praise the Loch Lomond Arms highly enough for how fantastic a wedding venue they are! We were initially drawn to the hotel for its stunning location in Luss (we wanted our guests to be able to visit a beautiful part of Scotland) however, the venue is so much more than its location. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is warm and welcoming, with a truly lovely country pub feel. The facilities are outstanding and the venue space where we had both our ceremony and reception had everything we were looking for: a lovely outdoor space (the patio is amazing with the gardens, beautiful arches and views of the hills), a gorgeous backdrop for the ceremony (that fireplace!), a bar near the dancefloor so our guests could have all they need in the one place and finally, enough of a blank canvas feel so we could make the space our own. It really did tick every box. Our wedding party stayed in the wonderful self-catering cottages behind the hotel (an added bonus to an already great venue) which I would highly recommend as the wedding felt like a holiday, not just a day. We chose the hog roast option with canapes and a drinks package. Many of our guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! Everything was delicious and the service was flawless. The staff on the day were fantastic in general and everything ran so smoothly. We didn't have to worry about anything! Finally, a huge asset to the venue was our wedding planner, James. Every interaction with him was so professional and helpful, he gave us invaluable advice for the day, calmed our nerves and often went out his way to take ideas we mentioned and make them a reality. He really did make the whole process (despite two postponements due to covid) so easy and positive. We loved our venue so much, as did our guests and we know we'll be back to visit again over the years as the place is so special to us. If you are on the hunt for a venue, book LLAH immediately!

Very frustrating to have received a parking ticket despite being a guest at the restaurant. Upon arrival to the reception (where you are meant to give your car details), there were no staff present, and the supposed machine to enter them was not clearly visible to us. We were instead very quickly turned toward the restaurant and our details taken for track and trace.I think if you are going to dish out £100 parking fines, which as evidenced from reviews end up going to customers a lot of the time, you need to be proactive in asking customers if they have parked, and for their number plate to prevent erroneous fines. Otherwise you will end up with a lot of customers with a sour taste in their mouth a couple of weeks later.Helpfully, upon calling the hotel they were able to cancel the fine due to the track and trace details being given at arrival. However, this could easily be avoided by being more proactive in asking guests at the reception/restaurant lobby.

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon for an evening meal and it was absolutely delightful! I'm not often lost for words but the chef and kitchen excelled themselves for our food - both the pan seared cod was the finest piece of cooked fish I've ever had, and the roast beef just melted in the mouth. You have to experience this 5 star cuisine when you next come to Loch Lomond and we shall definitely return one day!

We visited this hotel for dinner to celebrate a birthday whilst staying in Luss. The restaurant has a really cosy atmosphere and the food was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly too - they did everything possible to ensure we had a lovely meal (which we did!). I would highly recommend visiting and hope to be able to visit again in the future!

Excellent! But ensure you tell them you are parked in the car park!Had lunch & drinks here. Food was excellent (fish VERY good, oysters EXCEPTIONAL), drinks great. Big, friendly place with very good staff. But if you park in the car park make sure you read the BIG, CLEAR signs (I didn’t) that ask you to register your reg number at the desk. All sorted now, again thanks to friendly staff.Very much looking forward to our next visit.Thank you.

Had a great stay here for a few nights recently. The room was lovely and the food was excellent - lots of game from the local estate on the menu (the venison burgers and game terrine were spot on, and the cranachan parfait was 👌). What really made it for me though was the service, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely stay again. 👍😊

My wife and I had an overnight stay, the hotel is located in a lovely setting. Great for a walk locally down to the beach, all year round. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and food delicious. I would recommend this to anyone.

What a beautiful place with incredible scenery. It’s a wonderful area. The hotel has really lovely quaint rooms and really polite staff! The food is out of this world and the “library” with its fireplace is a very comfortable area to rest and have a little tipple.Really happy to have found this place.

Stayed over for the one night as I was enjoying my friends wedding at the Lodge of the loch.On arrival the staff weren’t very friendly and quite blunt. Room was okay but not sure it was worth the £215 for the one night. Very basic and very noise. Might as well had the people from the bar in our room. When we arrived back at the hotel after the wedding reception at the stunning lodge of the Loch, the man on duty was probably the only friendly staff we encountered in our whole stay.Sleep was okay but again very noisy thru out.Again for breakfast we arrived at 9.30am and the tables weren’t set , no option for white bread , egg not cooked and service very poor. Put in the corner as well , felt very out of place. The lady on duty was almost stunned at seeing us waiting to be seated and was very blunt.Made to feel very uncomfortable during our whole stay.Stayed in nicer places for a lower price.

Excellent food, enjoyable environment, very professional and caring staff. Good drink selection, too. We love the place and we regularly come here with my husband and mother in law. Today I had the chicken, which was off the charts excellent. Everyone loved their meal and we had great time.Highly recommended ☺️
