Had a good dinner here. We didn't have reservations and they gave us a table which was much appreciated. Had risotto and a burger that were pretty good

Fantastic food, attentive, friendly and super professional staff, amazing view (hidden gem!) great value! What a find.....thank you for having us....hope to come back during our short holiday on Islay.

Top notch bar meal, excellent pork burger and chips cooked to perfection. Would highly reccomend.

Good food at a decent price. Well stocked bar with local beer on tap. All the local whisky and gin too.

I have rated the hotel poor because the rooms were so small . The staff were great - and the cleanliness in the rooms excellent. But irrespective of all the staff’s positive attributes there isn’t denying that the rooms are impossibly small. Great big confortable bed - but no room to move, store baggage nor hang and store clothes.Our bathroom door could not be fully opened !Please hotel owners - try staying in these rooms ! With luggage and wet clothing !I have stayed in larger ship cabins !

Excellent menu offering plenty options. Good options for kids as well. Our 18 month old loved his macaroni. My scallops were so fresh and the pork and apple burger from the local butcher was really tasty. On top of that a good range of beer on tap and unsurprisingly on Islay a brilliant whisky selection. Will definitely be back next time I'm on islay. Dog friendly as well 🙂

Vegan options terrible. I asked for the curry, only for it to be completely out, and then ordered the falafel burger instead. Unfortunately, despite having two vegan burger options, none of the burger toppers were vegan. But I didn't ask, so that's on me really.However, they did forget drinks for two of our table and needed to be reminded four times before it was delivered. Wasn't particularly busy either. Hoping they just had some new staff on, but the locals with us certainly weren't impressed.Tasty food otherwise, and have had great meals there before (pre-vegan), so giving them the benefit of the doubt here somewhat.
