Good vibe in this place. Good selection of beers and spirits. Can't comment on food as the restaurant wasn't open because of staff shortages. Menu looked great though!

Pub in a wonderful setting overlooking the marina and scenic bay - just a short drive from the main Oban road. We'll stocked bar, good coffee machine and food available, plenty of parking.

Fantastic views from the pub over looking Benmore and the Parps of jura

If I could give this lovely place more than 5 stars, I would. I can honestly say it was the best pub experience I have had, ever! It is in a truly beautiful location, and the sun shone, but the service from the staff outshone even the weather as it was outstanding. Attention to detail and genuine good old customer service, was refreshing to find. Add to this making our dog feel so welcome too you could be thinking..ah but was the food any good? Well, we had the sea food platter and it was the finest I have ever eaten. Our son had a great burger and fries, and we all enjoyed various puddings of chocolate brownies, sticky toffee pudding and lemon tart, all washed down with large Cappuccino's and it was all top notch! The dog was made a fuss of by staff and visitors alike, and given treats and water as a courtesy. The toilets were the most spotless of any pub I have been in as well. This place won awards in 2016/17 and whilst there may have been a hiccup recently (not sure of the reasons so can't comment) the current team have got this place back up and running in a very short space of time, and they deserve all the success from that hard work in the future. I really hope they win the pub of the year 2021. I just wish we could have booked to spend a week in that pub, then boxed it up to take home to Surrey with the views too! My advice..add this place to your bucket list, and go there soon...you will love it!

We've been here on many occasions as we berth in the marina over summer. The food has always rated very good with no complaints at all. The staff is very helpful and take care of us whenever we are there. Even though they are working understaffed just now we cannot fault their service at all.

The owners have done a great job in refurbishing the bar. It's bright, inviting and comfortable. We had an excellent meal today and owner and staff couldn't have been friendlier and good banter. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location at a small sheltered marina with moored boats, backed by a colourful row of cottages. Huge car park & small shop next door for supplies.A warm welcome from waitress and the fire πŸ”₯. Good selection of wine & beer although Covid meant we tried alcohol free Budvar which was actually great! Good menu with all usual suspects, as well as daily specials. Soup of the day was rustic veg and delicious. The Scampi was huge whole battered king prawns - fantastic! Big portions so no room for sticky toffee pud this time. Great views over the marina from tables in the pool room + plenty of outdoor benches for a sunny day. Great pub πŸ‘πŸΌ

Wonderful pub with stunning views in the most fantastic hideaway jewel of a place, friendly helpful staff - very tasty food, very reasonably priced. Hop, skip & jump away from our gorgeous Shine Lodge, loving our home for the next week. Sally & Robert Lawson
