Mira Mare in Argyll & Bute

Excellent food and really friendly service. Focaccia to share was delicious and two different chicken main dishes equally good - as was the lemon tart. Would highly recommend. Decor bit dated but doesn't take away at all from a busy wee restaurant with a great atmosphere.

Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere. Friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Fab menu choices. Food was really good, only minor complaint, I had Penne Formaggio which contained Spinach but there was very little Spinach in it. Will definitely be back 👍

We ate here last night with our 1 year old and had a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious and our 1 year old enjoyed his kids pasta so much he was clapping and practically jumping out of his chair as each bite created such excitment for him- a brilliantly physical expression of how tasty the food was. On top of this our server Amy was fantastic both at her job but also at just being a top notch human being. She was brilliant with our wee boy and a happy baby meant mum and dad could enjoy their meal. To her boss- you've a wonderful brand ambassador in Amy and I hope you are very proud of her! A lovely atmosphere and good pricing rounded this experience off. I'm so glad we went here and hope dear reader you enjoy it as much as we did.

I wish this place was at the end of my street! One of those rare finds, an authentic little Italian restaurant offering something a bit different from the standard carbonara etc and excellent value for money. We had a pizza and the lobster ravioli, both superb, followed by panna cotta and an orange tart. Good house wine and beer too. The waitress was single-handedly efficient and friendly. So glad we found this wee gem on our stay in Helensburgh.

It took us 2 years to eventually try this place, we have been missing out!! Proper Italian style pizza, fresh dough bases, very tasty. The service was brilliant and couldn't be faulted. Definitely recommend and we'll be back both to sit in and for a takeaway

Really nice place small but that's not a bad thing at ALL food was superb the lobster ravioli was great the pasta was fresh and thin but so soft, service was really good, and the back ground music was good , I will definitely be returning

Hands down the best restaurant in Helensburgh. Ive just spent the last 11 nights in the town and been to a different eatery every night. (Padrone, Ruby, Sugar Boat, Cattle & Creel, La Barca to name a few) and Mira Mare was the best by a country mile. This understated little restaurant has a loud voice and really packs a punch with flavour. Everything tasted so fresh and zingy. Give this chef a pay rise! Waitress was a lovely girl who couldn't do enough to make our evening as enjoyable as possible. She knew her stuff too, and understood the flavours of the food she was serving. Really can't praise Mira Mare enough. If you are only in this town one night and can't decide where to eat-go here. You wont regret it. I can't believe I only discovered it on my last night here! Still, better late than never....

Just had a great lunch everything freshly prepared & everything tasted great. Really enjoyed the Italian beer was refreshing & light. Can highly recommend the Mira Mare.

Saturday night visit for my partner's birthday. Small restaurant with older decor but the food is excellent, service good and prices very very reasonable!
