Mr Pia's Fish & Chip in Argyll & Bute

High prices, mediocre food, poor service. 2022 and still only accepts cash. Ten minutes for a bag of chips when I was one of two customers in the shop. Shop itself is pretty grim. Staff mocked me for wearing a face mask, continued mocking me to another customer as I left.

Had the most beautiful memory here. Staff was amiable and helpful. Ordered a small but they gave us a large!!!!!BEST FISH AND CHIPS I’VE HAD TOURING THE WORLD!!!!!!

Hands down the best fish and chips I've had in years. The lads Mike and Jack in there are absolutely spot on for a bit of craic and the food is fresh and delicious.

Amazing food, friendly staff. Brilliant array of food, all freshly cooked to order. Had the haddock and chips, great flavour and large portions for a very reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit.

Was quite disappointed sadly. Other reviews promised good things, and the pictures looked great. However, my fish batter was soggy and so were the chips. The fish without the batter was fresh and tasty at least. My husband had the spicy chicken burger which he said was delicious and crispy. Underwhelming.

Great chips. Very friendly staff.We came in at 2130 on a Sat night after being stuck in a four hour traffic jam. We needed something quick to eat and something tasty to improve our morale. We definitely found it here. We came in just as they were closing but happily they cooked our food (fish supper for my friend and chips for me) fresh to order. Whilst we waited they asked about journal.If you pass this way stop here to get a great and quick meal.

Just had the most amazing deep fried Mars bars! A must if you are in the area. Really friendly people running the shop and amazing food, will definitely be back before we go home!
