Visiting Oban From South Africa & Oban Fish & Chip Shop was The Choice of The DayThe fish was firm and flaky, not too oily and white in colour, the chips were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and cooked right through perfectly.If you visiting Oban definitely give this a tryLoved It , Thank you Oban Fish & Chips for an awesome meal :)

Fast and efficient takeaway. Fish suppers were tasty however for the price I would have expected 2 fish, which would be normal from a chip shop further south in the central belt of Scotland. Would still recommend however.

For someone who regularly travels around the ports of Scotland climbing I was a little disappointed at the cost. Good portion of Fish with slightly soggy rather than crisp batter, an okay portion of chips but for £13.50 would have expected more. On the whole good but could be better

Fantastic chippy, really good food and for a decent price. Proper mushy peas which are a rare treat. Worth a sit in meal if you’ve got the time.

WE had Fish and chips from here, both take out and eat in.What a wonderful atmosphere as well as the Fish And Chips.Freshly caught Fish of different variety on offer; with super high quality.The Chips, Curry sauce was outstanding. The Food was EXCEPTIONAL.The Staff were very friendly helpful and so nice.. Service with a smile and very customer focused unlike some places where WE have had fish and chips in England.And the place was smart, and clean.Would recommend it to all should they travel to Oban...

9/10 near perfect fish and chips. Everything done well - light crisp batter, crispy chips… the only thing to improve could be better seasoned batter, which was easily remedied by adding more salt. For £7.50 for standard portion was well priced!

Best fish and chips in Oban! The deep fried scallops were cooked to perfection and very juicy. Staff were great too when I messed up and accidentally ordered 4 portions of chips instead of 2 and happily refunded me without a second thought.

The food is really nice!! Worth to have a try!!**But since 5 of us dined in and only ordered 1 soup, 1 large fish and chip and 5 cups of tap water for the first round, the waitress kinda complained about it: like we had only spent a little money but took a lot of things…** (at the time, the shop was not full, like there was just 2 people next to us)Well, actually that were just our first round and we would like to try if it tastes good, if not, we would just go away…and then we have ordered another large fish and chips since it’s really nice.Just one flaw and that’s the waitress’s manners.
