Seafood Cabin in Argyll & Bute

What a incredible little gem...we cannot thank people enough for recommending us this place ...so simple but what an experience, we had the most amazing food with rain, sun and rainbows all topped off with breathtaking views ...a real high point of our holiday , cant wait to visit again

Salmon platter is delicious. Highly recommended. Wonderful staff. Beautiful location. If you love seafood you'll love it there.

What a lovely setting with a backdrop of skipness castle and skipness abbey and distant views of the Loch most of the tables are outside in the open air with a few under a roof being Sunday and sunny a wait for a table could be 15 minutes or more but worthwhile we found a table and placed our order seafood platter and smoked salmon platter the cabin was short staffed and we waited 40 minutes for our food don’t be put off by this no one else seemed to mind it’s purely seafood you can get local bottled beers, larger cider and small selection of wines all the staff work very hard and are very friendly our food was delicious thank you

A brilliant seafood ‘restaurant’ in a rural and spectacular setting. What Started out as a trailer food bar, now a cabin with open and covered seating, on the edge of Loch Fyne. The restaurant is next to Skipness Castle and looks across to the northern end of Arran. Staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. A great experience, and very chilled. Could have sat there all afternoon! Thoroughly recommended!

This is what a seafood cabin should be. Authentic, ramshackled, in a remote and stunning location…and most importantly of all, serving amazing food in a relaxed and laid back manner.Battered wooden tables erected on the grass. Watch the collection of local wildlife and birds amble by in the surrounding fields. Look out over the water and drink your first glass of chilled white as build an expectation of the treat to come.Fabulous tasting plates, delicious bowls of mussels and salads with a really good homemade dressing.The only fear is that it might become too popular for its own good and lose some of the relaxed charm…fingers crossed it doesn’t.

Amazing food and setting, well worth the effort to get there.A plate of scallops cooked perfectly, muscles in beautiful sauce and amazing huge juicy oystersWill come back when back in Kintyre.

Delicious. Some of the best seafood I've had in Scotland. We had the seafood platter for two (attached to this review) - a hearty meal! It was fantastic, and we will be returning soon!
