Fantastic restaurant houses in an old church. Great ambience and food. Pet friendly. Clean toilets with free parking.

We dined from the dinner menu and what a delight it was.We both had Homemade tomato soup with 2 warm bread rolls. Mains my partner had salmon and I had the burger absolutely beautiful if I could give more than a 5 star rating I would have done. 16 years since I came here last won't be 16 till we come back

Went to the Slanj after picking up a menu at an event at Loch Lomond Shores. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I had scallops and black pudding for starters, smoked haddock risotto for main and deep fried mini Mars bars for dessert, it all tasted delicious and was well presented! The atmosphere in the restaurant was comfortable and the waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. The Slanj wasn't somewhere I would of thought to have gone for a meal but I am glad that I did and have recommended it to my family and friends.

Wonderful dog friendly restaurant in a converted church. Myself wife and Labrador went for 5th wedding anniversary meal. Denver the lab even had his own meal of sausages and seasonal vegetables from the doggy menu which he wolfed down. Our food was as gorgeous as the surrounding scenery at loch Lomond. Will visit again

Only remember to get a picture of half eaten dessert! Absolutely fabulous food, great service and a unique setting. Added bonus for dog owners - they have a food menu just for dogs - also to the recent negative reviews complaint about a lack of Guinness.. you are in Scotland not Ireland and there was a brilliant Cobbler stout on draught.

Lovely friendly staff, dressed traditionally and yes he’s as huge as he looks😂 food was excellent, a tad expensive but think that’s everywhere you eat out these days. Good venison burger solid meaty meal. Delicious smoked haddock risotto just a small portion could have eaten it twice 🐷. Very dog friendly and a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend a visit

We came for the evening in our campervan, the view and the building is amazing the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is top quality and very tasty. The gins they sell are also lovely. If you have not visited then I feel you are missing out. There is also a lovely little shop on site.

Stayed in the car park overnight, no charge just need to book in advance. Food was great and the staff really friendly and welcoming. Really good walks from behind the restaurant.

Looks to be a converted church into a restaurant. Great interior decor. Service was excellent and the food was really tasty. 10 minute walk from Tarbet Pier.

After dining here for 4 days in a row all I can say is - wow! This place doesn't have to be that great (there is pretty much no competition in Tarbet) but everyone is doing their best, the staff is super friendly and the chefs do a great job too. Would go back to Tarbet just to drop by one more time!
