Went on Christmas Eve, was kinda empty. Nice ambience

Brill it's open again, still getting stocked up and awaiting menu and kitchen finishes for food. Will be brilliant again seems to have a great team driving it again. Still as dog friendly as ever.Edit - unfortunately closed and looking for new landlord again 😒😭

Good fun old fashioned pub, comfy beds, good company. Staff were helpful, talkative and helped me find the best route to my destination the next day. Served food after the kitchen had closed as I arrived late. The only slight let down was the quality of the food, pretty basic, but still enjoyable. A good stay for the price.

My husband myself and our dog had a wonderful 2 nights stay here. The owners were very plesant and could not do enough for us. The place was very clean. And the breakfast was tremendous. Our dog e ven got her own sausage and bacon 😁. What more can you ask. We will be back for a longer stay next time .😁

Had the choice of another beer here or returning to the rainy bus stop. Chose the bus stop. Small locals pub not particularly welcoming to anyone else. No local beers, no tomato juice all soft during sold by the can only cheese and onion crisps. Not big problems if the place was a bit more welcoming.

Welcoming staff and an old fashion pub. The rooms where a bit dated and basic but the atmosphere made up for it. Only stay here if you don't mind staying above a popular boozer!

Adequate accomodation after a trip to islay. Very loud during saturdays because of screaming drunk audience in the night. The rooms are located directly on top of the bar. Beds are clean, room was okay. Very friendly staff, good breakfirst. The stay was ok but neither less or more.

This Is A Family Friendly Pub. The Food Is Really Lovely & Reasonably Priced The Argyll Burger Is A Gut Bursting Helping & The Steak Is To Die For. Everything Is Cooked By Stuart The Landlord Who Is Also A Trained Chef. The Staff Are Really Friendly & Helpful Especially Emma Stuart's Business Partner Who Is Really Nice In Her Welcoming Of New & Old Customers.

My second meal here and would definitely eat here next time I am in town. Good pub grub, friendly staff and locals. Nice range of bottled beers.
