Lovely friendly staff, excellent locally sourced food. Traditional warm and friendly pub, would definitely recommend.

After a long drive it was lovely to sit and enjoy a couple pints and a very hearty plate of fish and chips. Highly recommended.

Been in for a lunch and two dinners recently. Very impressive on all three occasions. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is gorgeous. Generous helpings. We will definitely be back

I went in last week and had an excellent meal and evening. The staff were really friendly, welcoming and happy to talk and share suggestions about places to visit on the island. We felt very welcome and the pub has a great atmosphere. I would definitely come back if on Bute again.

I went here today on a whim when ferries were cancelled due to bad weather. They were so kind and lovely, and helped me with my pushchair, as well as going to the kitchen multiple times to check the ingredients of dishes for me as I can’t have dairy! They also let me use a charger for my phone.The food was also delicious, and came quicker than I expected.I will definitely be coming here again next time I’m on Bute!

Nice locals pub on the sea front. Service pretty slow but perhaps just more relaxed out here in the Isles. Food was ok, I had a panini with salad for £6. Beer is decent
