UNBELIEVABLE "SERVICE"!I entered the pub at 8:15 pm and asked if I could still get some food. The barman said that he will have to check as the kitchen closes at 9!? He then poured 2 beers for some of the 4(!) people sitting at the bar. After 3 minutes with me standing in front of him, he finally called the kitchen and told me that I can get food and handed me the menu. I had a quick look and told him what I wanted to order. He said he would have to finish pouring the beers first and then come back to me. After 5 more minutes (still standing right in front of this person) I left this place.

Was a nice wee stopping place after a long drive down to Campbelltown. Was clean, staff were friendly, food was fine.

·

Excellent service, great food, very generous portions! Had a lovely time out with family for a few drinks & a meal.

Popped in for lunch whilst exploring the area and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sat outside with the dogs looking over the harbour. The barman was excellent - really courteous and attentive. Food was a very good standard. Definitely recommend.

·

Very friendly and professional help from the barkeeper, ordered food, was warned that the portions were big, he wasn't lying. He forgot to say that the food was excellent, well done!

·

Great food and service from barman first class.Interesting clientele, overheard a conversation from a visitor who was paddle boarding to Portpatrick. When asked by the barman how he would navigate, he replied, " Head out to that bulbous rock/island and hang a right!" Never heard Ailsa Craig described in such a manner. Still it was a fairly accurate description. Best part was the response from the barman " Fair play to you?"Well worth the visit.

Great cosy authentic pub! I can absolutely recommend the Haggis Nachos - DUDE, those were tasty! They were the best Nachos I've ever had. Gotta try out those! Apart from that, good service and an actual coal fire in the fire place warming your back. It's a place to go in Campbeltown!

·

Nice and friendly. Standard beers and... Haggis Nachos! Well worth a try, even if you haven’t had haggis before. Gets a bit busy most nights, so get in early.

·

Great little pub attached to the Royal Hotel. Good food and staff are courteous and very friendly. Don't get Brian started on the theory of relativity though. Wish there was some real ales and IPAs

·

Fine pub with excellent restaurant attached. Haggis nachos are a local speciality.
